We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Grace Myler. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Grace below.
Grace , appreciate you joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe in order to be successful, you have to take risks and step out of your comfort zone. Success never comes from staying in your comfort zone and I’m a firm believer in that. Sometimes the biggest blessings and successes can come from the biggest challenges. I’ve been working in the social media space for 3+ years. In 2022 I launched Grace Myler Media a social media management and content creation business. Prior to my launch I had been struggling with a lot of health issues and had to undergo a Kidney Auto Transplant surgery. I spent the time in the hospital prepping, researching, and planning. After recovering from surgery I started Grace Myler Media. Through word of mouth and the power of social media, my business took off in a way I never expected. The success of Grace Myler Media came from taking a risk and stepping out of my comfort zone in the face of adversity.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Adopted from Guatemala, I was raised in Minnesota. I graduated from Shakopee High School in 2020. While attending High School I was very active as the DECA president, NHS vice president, and owner of a local profit organization. After High School I began continuing my entrepreneurial endeavors as the owner of a direct sales business with MONAT. At the age of 19 I began working full time from social media. I’ve turned my passion for social media into my career and I’m committed to helping other businesses succeed using their social media platforms.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
As a social media manager, I know the power social media has. I’ve prioritized growing my business using social media as a tool. I’ve built my audience by creating a community, building connections and showing up authentically.
What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
Yes. When I was 18 I started working in network marketing. This thought me a lot about social media and content creation and it let me to launch Grace Myler Media which has now become my full-time business.
