We were lucky to catch up with Gordon Downs recently and have shared our conversation below.

Gordon , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

The project I’m currently working on is the most meaningful and largest in terms of scope and production. For the past year I’ve been researching the animated sitcom, American Dad! from a merchandising perspective. There isn’t much official merchandise for American Dad! and I’ve set out on a mission to find out why, while also exploring the show’s fan base and the possible connection in adults on the autism spectrum. I plan on producing a DIY documentary exploring all of the above, while also documenting my own experience with diagnostic testing for autism spectrum disorder.
