Hi Goli , thanks for joining us today. Do you manage your own social media?

I started my brand 10 years ago, it was the same time Instagram was introduced ! I figured out that I could take pics of my pieces and post them on my page,
With that said I was able to Organically grow my online presence / business page and in followers as well as a customer base all over the world.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?

I started g.rock l.a on my dining room table 10 years ago, at the time my daughter was almost 6 , entering kindergarten. As a stay-at-home mom I found that once she was in school all day I had some extra time on my hands .

So, I decicided that I would open up my old box of beads and start making jewelry again, for fun!

I started making hanmdade beaded gemstone jewelry 10 years prior as a passion, it was also super theraputic and fun to create !

With that being said in my free time I would listen to music and create/ design jewelery.

This was around the same time Instagram came on the scene , I figured out that I could post pictures of my pieces on the gram, shorlty there after my followers/ friends ! People began comenting liking and ordering jewelry from me via the pics I would post .

I began gaining notability , followers and an incredible customer base that I have the pleasure of working with till today.

A few years went by and the business grew, we ganied a client base around the world, opened an amazon shop, private label designed for many brands, I was featured and sold my collection at the infamous Kyle by Alene Too, an incredible one stop boutiuqe that carried all of the hot clothing brands and jewelry .

Not long after that I receieved an offer to design a capsule collection for the Warner Brothers movie Wonder Woman staring Gal Gadot. It is and has been till today one of my greatest work related achievnments .

I feel super grateful and lucky to have been able to run a business , design and crate amazing jewelery …

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process.

ALL custom G.ROCK L.A pieces are handmade in Los Angeles California, in the Jewelry District of Downtown.

When I first started I would walk the streets of the district with sketches ready to be manufactured and ask anyone or any office that would open their doors to me and that were kind enough to guide me in the right direction.

I knew no one, not a sole .. eventually, I found my way.

Day by day week by week I would return to DTLA and began working with incredible CAD designers, diamond setters, gold smiths, finding houses ,and diamond houses .

I feel very fortunate to have found MY team , one that has been hand picked and the best of the best.!

Finding them took time, patience , trial and error and commitment .
