Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Godlikegio. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Godlikegio, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I started out in my Junior year of highschool recording music after I had linked up with an engineer for a buzzing local artist at the time by the name of “Drebo”.

After spending most of 2017 getting a feel for the mic, I got started performing my first underground shows in the winter and progressively got better at controlling a crowd. I believe the energy from the shows as well as the experience itself really helped shape my sound.

The bigger the crowds got, the more lit my engagement on social media got, leading me to get some good eyes on me. I’ve been consistent at it ever since, perfecting the formula.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Think for themselves. You’d be surprised how hard that is for people.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Feeling connected to something bigger than myself.
