A Mom on a Mission: How Neeshi Was Born from Love and Necessity
As a mother, watching your child suffer is one of the hardest experiences imaginable. My daughter was plagued by debilitating menstrual cramps that left her curled up in bed for days, a heavy flow that drained her energy and led to iron deficiency, and acne that shattered her confidence. Every month, we braced ourselves for the storm, knowing it would come like clockwork.
Doctors offered the usual solution—birth control. But I had been down that road myself. As a young girl, I was prescribed the pill for similar issues, only to be met with unwanted side effects that I wouldn’t wish on my daughter. I knew there had to be another way—something that worked with her body, not against it.
So, I channel my grandmother who was a strong believer in functional foods, and I dove into research – determined to find natural solutions. I studied functional foods, the power of adaptogens, and the role of nutrition in hormone balance. What I discovered was a treasure trove of ingredients with the potential to ease her struggles. But I also knew that no matter how effective something was, if it didn’t taste good or fit into her daily routine, it would be a lost cause.
That’s how Neeshi was born—a delicious, easy-to-enjoy set of products with functional ingredients designed to support hormone balance. I started with my daughter in mind, but what I didn’t expect was how much it would help me, too. As I approached perimenopause, I faced my own set of challenges—hot flashes, night sweats, exhaustion, mood swings, and relentless cravings. Incorporating these same ingredients into my diet transformed my experience. My night sweats disappeared, my energy returned, and I finally felt like myself again.
Today, my daughter no longer dreads her period. Her cramps are minimal, her flow is light, and her skin has cleared. And for me? I’ve found a new purpose—helping other women and their daughters experience the same freedom we did.
Neeshi isn’t just a product; it’s a movement. A mother’s love turned into a mission to redefine how we support our bodies, naturally and deliciously. Because no one should have to choose between relief and their long-term health. We deserve both.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for Neeshi has been our doctors and health practitioners. I’m incredibly proud to say that every doctor who recommends Neeshi to their patients has personally tried it first, experienced the benefits, and genuinely believes in it. That level of trust and validation means everything to me.
Unlike many brands that rely solely on marketing hype, Neeshi has grown through word-of-mouth from professionals who see real results in their own lives and in their patients. These practitioners—whether they specialize in integrative medicine, gynecology, functional nutrition, or holistic wellness—recognize the power of our ingredients and how seamlessly Neeshi fits into daily routines.
This kind of organic growth speaks to the quality and effectiveness of our product. When a doctor or practitioner experiences better energy, improved mood, or hormonal balance themselves, they naturally want to share that solution with the people they help every day. That’s what sets us apart—we’re not just another supplement on the shelf; we’re a doctor-recommended, real-world-tested, functional food that makes a difference.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Coming from a background in M&A and high-tech business operations, I was used to leading with expertise. But when I transitioned into consumer packaged goods (CPG), I quickly realized I was in completely new territory. The strategies I relied on before didn’t necessarily apply, and for the first time in a long time, I had to admit: I didn’t know what I didn’t know.
That was a humbling moment, but it also became one of the most valuable lessons of my journey. Instead of trying to figure everything out alone, I made a conscious decision to seek out experts—people who had built brands, navigated supply chains, and understood the nuances of retail and e-commerce in ways I simply didn’t.
What amazed me the most was just how generous and supportive people in this space are. I found an incredible community of founders, mentors, and industry professionals who were not just willing but eager to share their knowledge and experiences. The world of women’s hormonal health is still so new and growing, and there’s a collective understanding that there’s more than enough market share for us all. Instead of competition, I found collaboration. Instead of gatekeeping, I found encouragement.
This experience reinforced the power of resilience through adaptability and humility. Success doesn’t come from knowing everything—it comes from knowing when to ask for help, build the right network, and learn from those who’ve walked the path before you.
That shift in mindset has been crucial to growing Neeshi, and I now pay it forward whenever I can—because I know firsthand how valuable that support can be.
