Hi Giles, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
With SMM Dealfinder, we have created away to do mass email outreach with something called hyper-personalization. This is where we take standard email copy, and use AI to fully personalize each email sent out based on the recipients instagram and linkedin posts and activity.
This has resulted in a 500% increase in response rates over non-personalized copy, and much warmer responses leading to more closed deals.
We’re able to do this at scale since we have instagram and/or linkedin data for nearly 100m contacts, allowing us to handpick individuals and decision makers in specific industries, and target these individuals with hyper-personalized emails. This is game changing for pretty much any B2B business.
We’re able to do this so quickly because we have such a lean team. Being the head consultant, I’m constantly diagnosing clients’ needs, and instantly talking to and helping our developers to roll out features at lightening speed, often in minutes. This is how we are coming for the big guys in the industry, and can iterate and advance at ludicrous speeds.
Most businesses in the lead generation and outreach industry move slow, some are even listed on the stock exchange and have too many layers of management to run through before innovating. We scrapped that. innovation and implementation is immediate, and this is how we can build a product no other company could dream of.
Other companies are stuck with basic variable personalisation which is old technology, and doesn’t stand out. ‘Hi ‘name” at the start of an email isn’t new, and people have become numb to even reading their own name. We take this to a new level, hyper-personalized subject lines, hyper-personalized email copy, so that no two email ever look the same. This is the future of outreach, and businesses not using it will get left behind.

Giles, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Giles Bailey, a 21 year old Business Insider featured entrepreneur and consultant specializing in the emerging space of AI Marketing.
After just a year of studying Economics at Bristol University in the UK, I dropped out to pursue a brighter future in the marketing space. What started out as a passion working until 5am in my dorm room, turned into a defined career path that put me decades ahead of my peers. After investing 10s of thousands of dollars into personal development, sales, consulting, and marketing training it lead me to a position to work with some very renowned names in the industry.
By working side by side with multi-eight figure entrepreneurs in the marketing agency space, to working with world-class marketing consulting programs, I have garnered a bespoke understanding of how marketing agencies and their clients operate. What their needs our, where their bottlenecks are, and where they are missing out.
This knowledge of the marketing space put me into a position where I head the consulting team at SMM Dealfinder, interacting with some of the largest marketing agencies in the U.S. across every industry imaginable. By consulting for these businesses, I have developed a deep understanding of client acquisition, AI Powered lead generation, and most importantly, AI email outreach.
I’m currently driving development forward at SMM Dealfinder, helping marketing agencies and B2B business grow at unprecedented rates. We have built an extremely lean team of visionaries that can implement changes immediately without waiting for ‘management approvals’ or a ‘cost-benefit analysis’.
The whole world is being shaken up by AI right now, and we’re at the cutting edge of it. There’s been more development than we could ever imagine in the last year. Alright – let’s talk about marketing or sales – do you have any fun stories about a risk you’ve taken or something else exciting on the sales and marketing side?
Back when we were testing our new AI outreach system, we were sending out a low volume of emails to test engagement, and to dial in the process of hyper-personalization. We weren’t really expecting anything from the campaigns since the copy wasn’t even good, we were just trying to optimize the AI personalization aspect. We didn’t really even have a product in mind to sell anyone at that time. We woke up the day after we launched the test campaign to find we had a flooded inbox of positive responses, and people sending us THEIR OWN calednly links (since we didn’t have anything ready). I ended up hopping on a couple of these calls, and ended up creating a brand new product on the spot, and closed a multi four-figure deal on the spot. Pretty crazy considering we didn’t expect to get any responses from that campaign.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
We ramped up extremely quickly, going from 0-$1m ARR in just 6 months of launch, and this happened because of some strategic partners with marketing education platforms, which led to youtubers, influencers, and large agencies driving significant awareness for the platform with almost no ad spend. By showing users exactly what they need to do to succeed, and keeping our interface as simple as possible, clients know exactly how to use everything and see the results they are looking for. We set reasonable expectations, we’d rather underpromise and overdeliver, and this means we end up with a lot of customers that rave about the product.
