We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Gil & Renée Beavers a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Gil & Renée , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. The first dollar your business earns is always special and we’d love to hear how your brand made its first dollar of revenue.
Gil and I have worked with couples for fifteen years at no cost . During the pandemic the Rich Relationships with Gil & Renée podcast was launched .Gil and I had found our voice as marriage mentors and wanted to invite others along with us.The Rich Relationships our marital code to oneness was a gift to our generation twenty-two couples around the United States joined the journey and our first anthology was written and published.
Relationships are how we grow and learn working with twenty-one couples was challenging and rewarding.
Rich Relationships our marital code to oneness was our first paid project. Social media and friends and family is where our co-author were found.
Gil and I held video calls with each couple to answer questions and provide the necessary information for each couple to commit and invest in our vision. The journey was long and filled with ups and downs;but we all did it and we did it together. We found of first client on social media and now our clients are all best selling authors.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Their is no such thing as a over -night success. In most cases we see where people are without knowing the struggles and obstacles they’ve had to overcome.
Working with couples who don’t talk to one another and live in the same house and sleep in the same bed is disturbing.
Renée and I have developed our communication over years, miles and long distance. Renée and I
have chosen to reverse engineer our years as a couple to empower other couples to develop healthy communication, conflict resolution, respect and empathy.
Give up was never an option. Gil and I take this same commitment and compassion into our sessions with couples.
Renée and I have seen couples who didn’t speaking or talking to learning to get to the root cause of their poor communication.
Marriage is work that requires tools, time, and training. In many relationships outside help and support is vital to the relationships transformation.
