We were lucky to catch up with Gianna Quick recently and have shared our conversation below.
Gianna, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
My parents have been my biggest supporters. Growing up, I found a lot of my friends parents really pushed college on their kids and some times college isn’t a necessity for what you want to do with your life. My parents always told me to just keep working and eventually your hard work will pay off and it 100% did

Gianna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Art has always been my passion, my top form of expression, my escape. Growing up I would go to my mom’s tattoo appointments with her and the idea of being able to put my art on someone’s body for the rest of their lives really resonated with me. After I graduated high school I went to community college for two days and realized I was not meant to be there so I went to New Hope PA where I apprenticed for two years at the Lions Den Tattoo Studio. I built a small clientele which then later grew as I moved to Brand New Tattoo in Ewing NJ. It was there that I really learned so much from so many other artists who later became family to me. After a solid three years with them I decided to take the leap and open my own business. This field truly amazes me because it is constantly changing, there’s always room for growth and that is something that I love so much. The trust that my clients have in me is something I will always cherish.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I want to say 80% of my clientele is thanks to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Social media in itself is a job when you work in this field. It’s important to stay on top of it and it really does show when you use it properly, it’s extremely beneficial to building a clientele

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Social media is definitely big for growing clientele but it is also a huge part of me keeping in touch with my clients. I do text my clients and email them but social media is such a main point in all of our lives and I think that’s one of the main contenders in keeping in touch with everyone
