Giancarlo, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?

I moved to US because I won the Green Card Lottery and I opened the Facebook page ‘Magnagati in America’ as a joke to show pictures and videos from the US to parents and friends.
The page grew up with a lot of followers interested in my family adventure.
This became a mission for me and I would create every day an amusement page for all foreign people that love USA.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

It’s very important for people to smile throughout their lives. Our family lives in a foreign country, with daily difficulties to face, and face them with energy and a lot of smiles and happines, it can help solve them more easily.
My adventure could be an example for all people who are scared of changes.
Believe in yourself, you will be the best at dealing with change.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I won the lottery during the pandemic. All countries were closed, but with luck and hope, against the fate, we fought to obtain the Green Card and we obtained it very few days before the end.

How did you build your audience on social media?

It started as a joke making videos and many people were interested of my videos of common life. A family in a foreign country. The simplicity, showing scenes of daily life, it was the key to success of my Facebook page ‘Magnagati In America’
