Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ghoul Gals Paranormal. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Ghoul Gals, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
We learned through other investigator whether it was a certain technic that was taught or even just learning some what not to do things. Like most everything in life we learned off of others. In the first few months as a team we really networked and got to know as many investigators as we could from all around the world. Keith Bailey ( who was featured in an episode of paranormal 911 ) really helped us during this process and we were able to meet and learn off of some pretty awesome people in the paranormal community. It was not without its obstacles of course being a team of only women, which we did not realize was uncommon at that time.
Ghoul Gals, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Ghoul Gals Paranormal is the first paranormal team made up of ONLY WOMEN out of the Southwest Texas region founded and based in San Antonio, Texas. Founders. JenJen Reuter and Jennifer Rose Gonzalez are backed by 2 other strong female investigators, Ashley Kellum and Connie Aguero. Our goal is to find and capture evidence of paranormal existence while helping those who feel tormented or even just seeking answers to questions that have always been ignored. As investigators we willingly go to haunted locations in hopes to capture undeniable evidence of the existence of the paranormal. We are also working on being able to provide a more services to the public so that they are able to share in this journey with us, so be on the look out for that! But for now we do also sell items that we make ourselves ranging from all kinds of jewelry, GGP merchandise to even Spell bottles!
Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
Some do struggle to understand what exactly the goal is from “ghost hunting”. And we do want people to understand that our main goal is to in a way “calm the fear”. A-lot of people do struggle silently with the existence of the paranormal because they don’t want other to think they are “crazy”. We’ve had a home owner who’s family was ready to have him committed and after we were able to provide that evidence that he was indeed not “crazy” his family apologized to him. Not only that but they activity in his home began to calm down to a point where he could live in peace with the spirit. You see we are all made up of energy and that energy can be taken and manifested into poltergeist activity. Sometimes what we think is a ghost tormenting us is our own anxiety. Or Spirit (ghost) can take our energy and use that as a battery to essentially charge themselves. So if sharing what we know and getting evidence for them to back it up helps just one person then we are happy. But another very important thing to share is the history. everyone of these homes/ buildings has a history and sometimes along with that history comes a spirit attached to it that remains and when you think about that its amazing. And we what to cherish and highlight those things. We defiantly don’t want to go into peoples homes and “vanquish” anything other then fear.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Absolutely the most awarding thing about everything we do is getting non-believers to understand the true beauty of any type of paranormal activity. Its about history, its about our energy and its nothing to be in fear of. Is it scary? of course we have jump scare moments. That’s just our natural flight mode. But man it is truly amazing.
