Gg, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later
I started my Business in 2020 during the pandemic! I honestly wish I would have started sooner, I say this because I feel that my products could have been promoting and helping others with there skin before tha pandemic and I believe I would’ve had a lot more viewers. With having an online shop not many people were going online to shop and scroll through social media (besides tiktok) and really going outdoors and exploring more. I believe I missed a lot of clientele while starting at this time, as well as many people being laid off and or sick not many people were looking to shop!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started modeling in 2014 in Drnver Colorado, from there I have been signed to 5 agencies . I have walking in runway shows such as NYFW, DFW and more. I have also worked from brand such as Younique to Johnson and Johnson and more. I mainly shoot Commercial print but I have always been open to editorial and creating. Worlong with so many brands and models, directors and hosts it opened my mind set to knowing this industry has so much to offer I wanted away to still be connected but in different ways so that helped me create GGs Cosmetics ans Skin care . I was able to hire my own models and direct my own looks of what I wanted my to look like or how I wanted it to stand out!
With that I have gotten my brand in Many Denver, Colorado magazines as well has 3 issues of British Vogue. I have set up multiple pop-up shops and have sent many of my products to families in need from life disasters such as fires and more!
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
From Labels , to product and much much more! I continued to work my full time job until I was able to fully get the look I really wanted and the consistency of my product to be just right! From my work paychecks I funded my business.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being able to relate to my buyers and clients, its mor fake and our skin is very real with different problems for everyone, I always show my breakouts and journey through healing my own skin.
