Gericka, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. If you’re open to it, can you talk to us about the best (or worst) investment you’ve made. What’s the backstory and the relevant context behind why you made the investment
In 2022 , I made a promise to myself that i was going to do something new! I thought of something that I wanted to do that I was scared of doing. Makeup came to mind ! I lost a close friend due to it. I was afraid that would clash but i’m glad i did it because it made me happy ! Once i followed my talent I began to grow ! I am so happy i invested in me ! I do not regret none of it at all!
Gericka, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I treat everyone as an important individual! I don’t discriminate even if the client may have a nasty attitude. I provide each client with a beautiful beat! I leave the client feeling fresh and light! I would never want to feel the makeup on my face and i don’t want others to feel that either! I don’t want to change to individual only enhance their beautiful features! I am most proud of the drive that I have ! I literally spend time daily in my business! I strive to be the best artist that I can be ! I always want to make the client comfortable because most people that sit in my chair are nervous but love their face when they are done .
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Tbh word of mouth is still winning! I have invested in magnets , ads on ig, wearing shorts and hats with my brand and nothing beats the word of mouth!
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The best strategy is consistency!
