We were lucky to catch up with Gerardo Christ recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Gerardo , thanks for joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.

I worked for one of the big car companies and I was already Management but it wasn’t my dream my dream was art music and Culture. I am the lead singer Of Heavenly Trip To Hell an industrial metal band SO i quite and openwd a Rocknroll store called No Regrets that was open for 13 years were we supported local music local art and unity in the community..That lead me to the Tattoo world….Now I Own Belmont Hights Tattoo Boutique In Long Beach Ca I also direct and produce Road Dogs Tv were we showcase local talent with international Bands … music Art Culture =unity. Because I took a risk Heavenly Trip to hell will play hell and heaven music festival 2023 wish is the biggest music festival …Take a risk you cant change the whole world but you can change your world the world around you.

I am Gerardo Christ Ive Lived in Long Beach My Whole life Im Mexican and Ive been in the band Heavenly Trip To Hell for over 20 years playing in a band and touring really Cultures you because you are always traveling and experiencing different ways of life as band we have played some real epic shows this year were playing Hell and heaven open air music Festival. I also produce and direct road Dogs Tv were we promote art music and Culture in long beach ca I also put art shows togather and events at Belmont Hights Tattoo Boutique

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Im Mexican and I come from the poorest people but the most loving people my mom and dad told me you got no rich relatives so only you can save yourself. When I was young I Lived in a real bad neighborhood were people were always getting shot so My main goal was to get out the hood I was Senior Class President and I Got a scholar ship to go to college If You survive the hood you will be a beast in the real world and the best thing about growing up extremely poor is you have nothing to lose and everything to Gain No Fear No Regret A Real Shark in a world of sheep I’m a shark I have to go forward or I Die And I have no Neck so i cant look back

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

I think if you are an artist you must be on the streets social media is cool but its not real the streets are real thats were art music and Culture live as a musician and a business owner I have to be out at events shaking hands and kissing Babies . You have to have social Media but you also need to have events and support your local scene
