We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful George Bisong. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with George below.
Hi George, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Music has always been a passion of mine, but I’ve never let it be a priority. from children’s Bell choir to varsity singers in high school music has always been something I did in my free time. Being a first generation American with my parents hailing from Cameroon Africa. My career choices were made clear from an early age. “Doctor or Engineer :) “ So that’s what I trained for mentally. I knew it wasn’t an easy task, but I knew if I put my mind toward it I could achieve anything.
Ultimately i ended up getting accepted to Purdue University which was a top 3 public school at the time. That first summer is where I met my now business partner and brother Ricardo Gonzalez (RicoDa1).
Eventually we both crossed Phi Beta Sigma Inc. Spr 18 and he is my link.
Our sophomore year, he told me that he was interested in starting to make beats. The music lover and lunchroom/ back off the bus freestyler in me jumped out and I agreed that if he makes beats I will in turn work on my songwriting.
Music became our escape. From everything, our educational, emotional and everyday hardships. When we were making music non of that mattered. Of course we were always drowning in school work, community service, work and other things so music still never got the time it deserved but for the little time we did get to lock in we were getting exceptionally better.
It wasn’t until Covid came and shut down life were we able to just sit down and hone in on our craft. We started making tremendous strides and our demos started sounding more and more official.
Then lockdown ends and we go back to the agonizing pursue of our degrees. I finished my degree plan and decided to move to Atlanta to take a year to try to focus on my self and regain my composure and I’m struggling through a family and mental crisis. I’m also having to decide what program I will be continuing my education with and study for my MCAT.
After many dark nights of deep thought. I reached out to Rico and said would it be crazy if we just said “fuck it” just do what we are clearly ment to do. Not care what everyone says just dedicate ourselves to the craft and see what happens. And we never been more on the same page.
While he finished his degree. We plotted, brand names , services, everything you can possibly think of. (We’re stoping everything we ever worked for and changing the course for greatness)
He Graduated. I moved Indianapolis where we built our first home studio, made more music and stacked money for our journey.
In Indianapolis i dropped my first EP “Stages” a month later I was Performing at The House Of Blues Chicago. If that didn’t confirm we were on the right path I don’t know what would. We knew we needed a better market for what we had going on and made the move to Nashville Tn.

George, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m G.E.B [JEB]
(Artist and Co Owner Of “Lost Brothers Company”)
In a sense, I sell Feelings. I sell experiences.
To me music is therapy. It’s my opportunity to just leave it all out there. What’s said is said. Full transparency and hopefully someone feels the same or relates.
I understand everything can’t be digested by everyone in the same fashion so I use my versatility to try and express different things to different crowds for various situations.
As a Company we collaborate, guide and assist artists in their own journey based on their needs . Whether it be start up, Recording, Mixing , Mastering, Marketing, Media Training etc.
I would say, most proud of the fact that we did everything ourselves. Took our time to gain knowledge on the subject. Countless hours sharpening our craft. Building our first home studio with our hands. And just continuing to get better and grow every day.
Viewers and followers should know that everything is a product of our day-to-day determination, and the ongoing struggle for the pursuit of happiness.
They should know that nothing about this is easy, but with dedication and consistency a lot of great things could happen.
And it takes sacrifice and a lot of it but dreams do come true .

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
I feel like, especially in today’s society. The new thing is being “too cool” to support. When in fact, is nothing cool, about not motivating your friends/family to continue and pursue their dreams. Now I understand the market is saturated and there are a lot of people that aren’t where they need to be or just may lack talent and it’s not your job to project them in the proper direction but for those things that do catch your eye or for that Melody that won’t leave your head. Like the post. Leave a comment. All of that helps. All of that matters.
Something may not be for you, particularly, but it may resonate with someone that you know…send it to em.
You don’t know how much a simple “I’m proud of you” can change a creatives day

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to take care of my loved ones without sacrificing doing what I love.
My goal is to stay true to myself, and give every day my best until I’m undoubtably in conversations with the best.
My goal is to impact lives through music.
My goal is to change the way we look at music
My goal is to make the soundtrack that takes you back to key memories
