We were lucky to catch up with Gelesa Castle recently and have shared our conversation below.
Gelesa, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I decided that my mission was to create a lane for myself to allow myself to shine in my God given talents. It allows me to be happy to do what I love, protect my piece, continue to grow in areas where I never thought possible. I also implement that with my sub-contractors. Creating a healthy work relationship, showing support and appreciating the values they bring to the company. In the future I’m wanting my business to be a place of refuge not only for clients but employees/sub-contractors as well. Supporting their dreams and pushing them to be what it is they would like to be in order to be successful in life. creating a healthy work, life balance for them and paying what they deserve.

Gelesa, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Gelesa Castle is my name, AHVA Luxury is my business. I’ve worked for years like many other people for companies that lacks appreciation and were focused more about the money. Companies that promise growth but some how never seems to happen. I realized one day that I was at the end of my rope, I couldn’t climb further up the ladder at my place of employment at that time and honestly I didn’t want to. I was being over worked and not appreciated, my talents and contributions was going un-noticed. I knew that what I wanted for myself was freedom of my schedule, life and financial. I wanted the right to pick the people that I worked with and the clients I take. After many years of trying different things, care giving, sales associate, truck driving, maid, caterer, Advisor, I found a few things to be true in all of it. I Know that I’m a servant at heart and love to help others succeed, so being an assistant of any kind comes natural to me and I don’t have to go to school for that. I’m also very creative and have a degree in graphics design. Putting those skills together allow me to make it my mission was to create a lane for myself to allow myself to shine in my God given talents. So now my company offers Virtual Assistant services past the normal working hours to any client that needs it. Our specialty is to have longer operating hours to provide our clients the opportunity to have a better work, life balance as well. AHVA Luxury also offers creative content services to help increase a clients sales, follow base or just to have some beautiful updating done with their business. Photo shoot assistant is more hands on of course, we offer chauffeuring service to and from the photo shoot site, while assisting with wardrobe changes. I will continue to expand my business to offer many things so continue to check us out.
