Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gayane Yaffa. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gayane, appreciate you joining us today. We’ve love to hear an interesting investment story – what was one of the best or worst investments you’ve made? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
As a seasoned real estate agent, I’ll let you in on my secret to success: continuous education. Let me take you back to the early days of my career when I was navigating the real estate world without a mentor or guide. It was like wandering in the desert without a compass. But I’m not one to back down from a challenge. I decided to invest my time wisely by diving headfirst into resources for continuous learning.
I devoured industry publications, attended seminars (I practically had a permanent seat in the front row), and soaked up knowledge like a sponge. I became a walking encyclopedia of real estate know-how.
And guess what? It paid off. By staying ahead of the curve and making informed decisions, I transformed from a struggling agent to a top performer. Now, I’m coaching, mentoring, leading my own team, and I’ve made it my mission to instill the same hunger for knowledge in other agents.
You see, the real estate industry is a wild beast that constantly evolves. It’s like a shape-shifting dragon that keeps us on our toes. That’s why continuous learning is our secret weapon. We devour the latest market trends, analyze data like Sherlock Holmes, and embrace new strategies with open arms.
But here’s the kicker: learning isn’t a one-way street. When I started mentoring aspiring real estate professionals, I thought I’d be the wise guru imparting wisdom left and right. Little did I know, they had tricks up their sleeves too. Each mentee brought their unique experiences, perspectives, and skills to the table, and together we embarked on a knowledge-sharing extravaganza.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I may be the “veteran” in the room, but I’m not too proud to admit that my mentees have taught me a thing or two. It’s like a real estate Avengers team, where everyone has their own superpower. Together, we’ve become a force to be reckoned with.
So, if you’re looking for a real estate agent who’s armed with expertise, modern practices, and a motivating personality, you’ve found your match. I’ve got all the qualities you could ever want in a professional: dedication, class, integrity, and a dash of wit. Oh, and did I mention the long list of satisfied clients who later became friends and even family? That’s the kind of bond we forge because, to me, it’s not just about closing deals—it’s about building connections that last a lifetime.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’ve been rockin’ the real estate game for over a decade now, but let me tell you, it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows. In fact, things were a bit of a disaster when I first started out. But hey, you gotta start somewhere, right? Fast forward to now and I’m a successful Realtor in Los Angeles, with a unique background that sets me apart from the rest.
You see, I may be an Armenian originally, but I’ve been living in the US for over 12 years now, and I’m fluent in four languages (English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Armenian), and even some Spanish to spice things up! With my deep understanding of different cultures and customs, I bring a unique perspective to the table.
I’ve always had a passion for helping people find their dream homes, and now I’m thrilled to be doing that professionally. My dedication and commitment to my clients are unmatched, and my expertise and knowledge are top-notch. When it comes to getting the best results for my clients, I’m not afraid to go above and beyond.
And let’s not forget, I’m also the Social Media QUEEN! My clients can always count on me to be responsive, even when I’m on vacation(funny story many of my escrows started during vacation.;-))). Over the years, I’ve built up a long list of satisfied clients who have become close friends, and some even family.
What makes me most proud is the impact I’ve had on my clients’ lives. Whether it’s helping them find their dream home or making a solid investment, it’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of those important moments.
So if you’re looking for a real estate agent who’s not just a regular REALTOR, then look no further. I’m a your trusted realtor with unique capabilities, who builds real connections with my clients and values sincerity above all. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about closing a deal, it’s about making sure my clients feel valued and taken care of.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Referrals have been the lifeblood of my business. And let me tell you, it’s not just because I’m a great real estate agent (though I am, of course). It’s because I’m passionate about what I do, and that passion shows in every interaction I have with my clients.
I believe that every client deserves personalized attention, and I’m willing to go the extra mile to make sure they get it. Whether that means working weekends, taking calls at all hours, or just being there to listen when they need someone to talk to, I’m always there for my clients.
And when you treat people with that kind of care and attention, they tend to spread the word. I’ve had clients refer their friends, family members, and even co-workers to me. And the best part is, those referrals tend to be just as passionate about my services as my original clients were.
It’s a virtuous cycle, really. I work hard to provide exceptional service to my clients, and they reward me by referring more business my way. And that’s why I’m always looking for ways to exceed expectations and give my clients the kind of experience they’ll want to tell others about.
How did you build your audience on social media?
As the “Social Media QUEEN,” I’ve always been passionate about creating engaging content that resonates with my followers and showcases my expertise in the real estate industry. By consistently posting about everything from the latest housing market trends to my daily life, I was able to build a loyal following of individuals who appreciated my personality and valued my knowledge.
As my social media presence grew, I offer valuable insights and advice, which helped to establish trust and build relationships with potential clients such as Home Buyers, Sellers, and Investors.
When it comes to attracting home sellers through social media, it’s all about creating a compelling narrative that showcases your expertise and resonates with your audience. I started by crafting engaging content that not only educated and informed but also sparked curiosity and excitement among potential home sellers.
One of my go-to strategies was to provide valuable insights into the local real estate market. By sharing up-to-date market trends, neighborhood highlights, and tips for maximizing the value of their homes, I positioned myself as a trusted authority in the field. I also highlighted success stories of previous home sellers I had worked with, emphasizing the exceptional results they achieved under my guidance.
Of course, it’s not enough to simply have a large following on social media and it doesn’t matter how many people you have as followers it’s more important to provide exceptional service and value to your clients. That’s where my dedication to always being responsive and going above and beyond for my clients comes in. By consistently delivering outstanding results and providing top-notch customer service, I was able to turn my social media followers into satisfied clients who were happy to refer me to their friends and family.
Of course, creating great content is only half the battle. To truly connect with home sellers and buyers, I embraced the power of engagement. I actively participated in conversations, responded to comments and messages promptly, and showed genuine interest in the concerns and questions raised by them. This not only built trust but also fostered a sense of community and belonging around the community.
Now, for those who are just starting to build their social media presence, remember, that building a social media presence takes time and dedication. Stay persistent, adapt to the ever-changing landscape, and always strive to deliver value to your audience. With the right mix of strategy, creativity, and authenticity, you’ll be well on your way to attracting home sellers through the captivating world of social media.
