We were lucky to catch up with Gary The Destroyer recently and have shared our conversation below.

Gary, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?

I hope the legacy I leave will show anyone they can accomplish ANYTHING they put their mind to. I’ve literally started from nothing and taught myself everything I know now and definitely still learning more. Learning skills is the key to any door you wanna walk through.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I’ve been painting for about 3 years and producing for about 2 so im still pretty new it all. I’ve learned in this time that you have to constantly practice your craft…like become OBSESSED with your work, learn every formula and avenue you can take, pretty much STUDY STUDY STUDY so everything can start flowing naturally. Anytime i have to work on an art piece or beat, I always remind myself to start with what i know then add the details and uniqueness later. Always smooth after that

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I started off making edits of my followers, celebrities and fellow artists which helped gain a lot of followers initially. I also posted some of my favorite artists music along with my own music to grab their attentions. Make sure you post good content very often and MAKE SURE you show LOVE to other creators as well, it definitely comes back in tenfold.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?

Don’t give anyone half-ass work/products. Show that you care about whatever you’re working on for them, make them feel very included in the process and creation. And make sure your turn around rate is very fast, people do not like waiting on anyone so they will not mind taking their time and money elsewhere so definitely make that a priority in whatever you do.
