We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gaetane Gomes. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gaetane below.
Gaetane, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success is very subjective, and my vision of success has certainly evolved over the years. Most recently, I feel the most inspired by a life that allows me to be present and to not have to compromise my physical or mental health.
Once upon a time, I would justify working the longest and the hardest though today, as long as I feel peace and I’m able to focus on the most critical daily tasks in my business and be consistent – then I feel my day is a success!

Gaetane, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My career started in the luxury fashion industry, it was during my early years that I learned to build trust and cultivate relationships with my colleagues, many of whom I now call friends.
No matter where I found myself professionally, I was able to leverage my transferrable skills of being reliable, and capable of performing under pressure.
Regardless if my client’s need is for fashion or real estate, it is my ability to eliminate overwhelm and to provide assurance and guidance by taking things off their plate, ultimately making the decision making process easier.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
For me, personal development is an ongoing journey though there are several leadership books that have impacted my mindset and how I’ve stepped into my role as entrepreneur.
Firstly, before I share the list of books, I had to unlearn “trying to do it all” because in my opinion if you try to do everything, none of it can be done with expertise. Quality over quantity isn’t just a cliché.
How to Win Friends and Influence People – Dale Carnegie
What Got You Here, Won’t Get You There – Marshall Goldsmith
10x is Easier than 2x – Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Yes! Be yourself and trust your intuition. Energy never lies and nurture the relationships with followers where there is a mutual exchange of positive energy!
Our networks are invaluable and a stranger today can become a friend tomorrow. I would also say not to rush the process and to mirror the person you are conversing with, and most importantly, listen MORE than you speak.
