We were lucky to catch up with Gabrielle Hardesty recently and have shared our conversation below.
Gabrielle, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
Treat yourself like an ATM: everything you deposit into your body matters. Every choice we make either adds to or subtracts from our health and well-being. Just like deposits and withdrawals from an ATM, what we consume and how we care for ourselves contribute to our overall balance. Nutrient-dense foods, regular exercise, and self-care practices enhance our vitality and energy, while processed foods, stress, and neglect can diminish our health. It’s essential to be mindful of how our choices impact our bodies; prioritizing habits that add to our well-being we create a “rich life”. By consciously evaluating our “deposits,” we can create a life that nourishes us inside and out rather than leaving us depleted. The goal is to feel like a million bucks. So, pause the next time you make a choice and ask yourself: Is this adding to my life, my body, my well-being, or subtracting from life force?!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Growing up I rebelled against my mom’s holistic wellness-focused lifestyle, it wasn’t until I was 19 and living on my own that I truly began seeking balance in my life. Navigating the challenges of adulthood made me realize the importance of self-care, which ultimately led me back to my mom for her resources and knowledge on living a healthy, vibrant lifestyle. Gradually, I started raising my standards for the food I consumed, then switched to cleaner products. Before I knew it, this became my lifestyle, and I was thriving because of it. This new way of life sparked a passion in me to learn all I could and ultimately ended up graduating from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2022.
Today, I offer personalized 1:1 coaching services designed to help clients understand their unique bio-individual needs. My goal is to educate them so they can become their own health advocates and learn how to truly, care for themselves.
What sets me apart is my dedication to creating a welcoming and safe environment for my clients, especially those who may feel overwhelmed by the wellness industry. I meet you where you are, taking it step by step as we learn and unlearn together.
I want potential clients and followers to know that my brand, She’s Health Conscious, is founded on the belief that wellness should be both accessible and enjoyable. It is easier than you might think, and it doesn’t have to be bland or boring! Being healthy doesn’t mean sacrificing pleasure; in fact, it can be quite the opposite! My goal is to help others recognize that every small choice can lead to significant change. When one person transforms, others take notice of their newfound radiance. Personal empowerment creates a ripple effect of positive change in the world.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Just because a product is sold to us—whether it’s food or a personal care item—doesn’t guarantee its safety or quality. Many products on the market are marketed as healthy or beneficial, but they can contain hidden ingredients, additives, or toxins that may be harmful to our bodies. For instance, processed foods often have preservatives, artificial flavors, and high levels of sugar or sodium that can negatively impact our health over time. Similarly, personal care products may contain harmful chemicals that are absorbed through the skin (our largest organ!) contributing to various health issues. It’s crucial for consumers to educate themselves about what’s in the products they use and to read labels carefully. I aim to empower individuals to make informed choices that truly support their well-being.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I believe my reputation within the wellness world has been built on the principle of “walking the walk.” By embodying the values and standards I advocate for, I serve as a living example of what a holistic, healthy lifestyle looks like. When clients see me actively practicing what I preach—whether it’s choosing nutrient-dense foods, prioritizing self-care, or maintaining a balanced lifestyle—they’re more likely to trust my guidance and feel inspired to follow suit.
Being a billboard for these values means consistently demonstrating my commitment to health and well-being in both my personal life and my professional practices. This authenticity resonates with my audience and fosters a sense of connection and trust. People appreciate realness and sincerity, especially in an industry where misinformation can be prevalent. They want to see someone who genuinely practices what they preach, and I strive to be that person in all that I do.
