We were lucky to catch up with Gabriella Youngblood recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Gabriella thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
I am a mom and a writer on the Medium app. I started writing about things that are meaningful to me. I write poems about loss and love, stories about my day raising a toddler in this crazy world, and I also write about navigating relationships with family and friends. I have encountered a lost within the past 5 years and have noticed that writing about my situations but only help me release whatever i’m going through but I believe it gives others some perspective.

Gabriella, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am most proud of being a mom to a wonderful little girl. I share my everyday tasks and things I do on my social media. I also work and am. student as well. It can be hard navigating all of it but that is why writing helps me decompress.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to let other people know that they are not alone. Sharing your story no matter how big or small it is can and will inspire at least one person and to me that’s all that matter.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I wish I had known about how profitable blogs can be.
