We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Gabriella Taylor. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Gabriella below.
Hi Gabriella, thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
After a near-death experience, when I emerged from the coma, I had an awakening. My life before the accident had been filled with pain – eating disorders, sexual abuse, depression and even mental institutions. However, when I regained consciousness, something deep within me also woke up. I felt called to go on a pilgrimage, so I bought a one way ticket to Spain for $300 and commenced a multi-year journey around the world, living in monasteries, ashrams, and various communities. All at a time before cell phones and the internet.
While on this journey through 37 countries I also began a journey within, to heal from the past. I dove into learning how we humans transform – everything from ancient prayer circles and healing rituals, to modern psychoanalysis to learning how to rewire my brain and nervous system.
Through this process, it also activated a strong desire to help others transform their pain into strength, power and possibility. This led me into my work, and ultimately my calling, to assist women in living a life of purpose, while being kind to themselves along the way.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I specialize in providing both elegant and transformational experiences through crafting high-touch, personalized coaching packages for women who are ready to breathe life into their heartfelt dreams, while experiencing more connection, confidence and meaning.
Over the past 20+ years I have coached women through life-changing experiences. I’ve been privy to the secret challenges of elite clients, from Grammy Award winning musicians to Victoria’s Secret models to Hollywood studio heads. And yes, they struggle with the same things everyone does: anxiety, mistrust, loneliness and imposter syndrome, to name a few.
My unique background in Coaching Psychology and Relational Neuroscience enables me to facilitate genuine change in the brain and nervous system through a very specific, experiential approach which helps people release limiting beliefs, heal past hurts, and tap into inner wisdom, strength, and emotional resilience and move forward in a balanced, integrated way while opening to new possibilities in life.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
After spending many years in the world of Coaching Psychology, I realized how many of the principles were lacking a true understanding of how our brains actually work. I have had to unlearn a lot of my early training.
Most coaches (and many therapists) have been trained within a framework that focuses on changing thoughts, shifting mindset, managing emotions or modifying behaviors.
This approach may result in some insights, some growth, but no real change happens at the core.
Why?
Because true, lasting transformation in the brain doesn’t necessarily work that way – especially if we have had difficult things happen to us.
Therefore, I approach this work quite differently.
While modern psychology offers a great understanding of our psyche, it’s also rife with out-dated concepts that promote the erroneous idea that in order to change your life, you have to commit to making new choices while thinking new thoughts, so the focus is on behavioral modification and mindset alone.
Not only is this approach often neurobiologically inaccurate, this can also create a sense that parts of us are good and other parts are bad, which keeps us divided in our very relationship with ourselves.
However, neuroscience shows us a new way. We’re able to re-shape the brain through a very specific, experiential approach, freeing us to form new beliefs about ourselves, others and the world.
Through understanding and befriending our personal challenges, getting curious about where we feel stuck and turning towards the parts of ourselves that hurt, with caring, we actually develop inner strength, self-trust and confidence in our abilities which enable us to be kind and courageous leaders in our lives.
Science is now proving what mystics have known for a long time, that there is an innate loving intelligence within each one of us that is always doing its best to help us survive or guide us to thrive.
To me, this is how we transform our culture from the inside out – by learning how to bring harmony between the parts of ourselves that may seem polarized or conflicted, so we may raise children who sense their innate goodness, as we learn to relate to one another with curiosity and kindness, instead of judgment, defensiveness and separation.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
My practice has been largely word of mouth. The best source for new clients is from cultivating relationships and through the trust or familiarity, I often get referrals this way. I feel it is a great honor and responsibility to serve in the way I do, as we are creating a new world. At the heart of my vision is one where life on this planet is respected and cared for. As women are valued and supported as equal to men, we become powerful catalysts for transformation, contributing to a kinder world through our influence. Whether it is by raising children who are loved, confidently leading with connection, compassion and collaboration, we inspire positive change in our homes, our communities and the global stage. Together, we shape a new possibility and culture.
