We were lucky to catch up with Gabriele Purrer recently and have shared our conversation below.

Gabriele, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.

After ten years in my first career as a multilingual teacher and administrator in a private international school, I experienced a desire to expand my personal horizons. I resigned my position and began exploring alternatives. The transitional stress created imbalances in my body. During a hands-on healing session by a friend I felt sensations I had never been aware of before. This brought about an intuitive insight on the miraculous powers of body/mind/spirit healing and guided me in a completely new direction.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I have always had the ability to use my intuition and sensory gifts to help others, whether in a grade school classroom, one on one in my treatment room or a larger group space. Through deep listening, intuition, talk therapy, touch, bodywork and/or art, I am a facilitator of personal transformation for my clients. We co-create a sacred partnership, utilizing the best healing modalities that suit them and that assist in the healing of physical, emotional and spiritual wounds. This process leads to a more empowered, healthy and full life. In all my interactions, I endeavor to bridge communication between mind, body, heart and soul.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?

Training and knowledge are the beginning foundation of any professional journey. It is what comes after, that really matters. In order to integrate the foundation one needs to utilize an inner guidance system that connects us to the development of our essential and creative gifts. This process moves us to integrate knowledge and training in a unique way and to continue exploring and growing in ways that are consistent with who we are and that in turn attend to the needs of each individual client.

Developing relationship skills that go beyond the surface and help us connect to clients in a deeper way is another important process. It is the relationships we build with our clients and community that bring about the natural growth through word of mouth that builds any successful and lasting business.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What has helped me build my reputation within my market is my authenticity, my integrity, my sense of humor, my natural curiosity, my desire for learning and my love for people. I have also developed and deepened my skills of intuition, creativity, loving touch, deep listening, energetic resonance and communication.
