Hello everyone! I’m thrilled to introduce ourselves and share my journey with you. My name is Gabriel Toma and my partner is Miguel Camacho. The story that follows is our both input and we shared it as an individual experience since now we are building something together.
I’ve had the incredible privilege of immersing myself in the culinary world from a young age. I discovered my passion for the restaurant industry when I was just 17 years old, and since then, my journey has been an exciting blend of hard work, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

From the moment I set foot in a kitchen, I knew that my destiny was intertwined with the world of gastronomy. I had always dreamed of owning a restaurant, and now, 20 years later, that dream has become a vibrant reality. In the most serendipitous twist of fate, I met my partner in Tomball, TX, in 2020. Although we came from different corners of the world – me from Romania and him from Mexico – we shared an unbreakable bond over a shared dream: to revolutionize the way people experience Mexican cuisine. Together, we embarked on a mission to bring the true Mexican flavors of Baja California/California to Texas, infusing every dish with freshness, authenticity, and a touch of love.

In the early days of our venture, we were fueled by a dream and a burning passion for sharing authentic Mexican flavors with our community. However, like many entrepreneurs, we faced a significant challenge right from the start – limited financial resources. With only a modest amount of personal savings and some assistance from the bank, we embarked on our journey to open our first restaurant.
As we set out to transform our vision into reality, we encountered numerous hurdles that tested our determination. The most daunting of these challenges was the cost of building out our first store. But we refused to be deterred. Armed with our commitment to success and an unyielding spirit, we sought innovative solutions to overcome our financial constraints.
Through our perseverance and strategic thinking, we managed to negotiate a deal for the build-out of our first location. This not only reduced our upfront costs but also allowed us to allocate our resources more effectively. With each obstacle we encountered, we tapped into our passion, communication skills, and the solid “why” behind our mission. This “why” was a powerful force – a reminder of the difference we aimed to make in the culinary landscape and the lives of our customers.
While the challenges didn’t stop there – they rarely do in the world of entrepreneurship – our resilience never wavered.
