Hi Gabriel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.

In the year 2019, I found myself in a tough spot after quitting college and working a dead-end job. To make matters worse, my close friend and mentor passed away, compounding the difficulties I was facing. Adding to my woes, my stepmother and I had a strained relationship, and she decided to kick me out of the house during this challenging period. This caused a significant setback to my mental health, and I was in a state of disarray.

However, I was fortunate to have the guidance of my life coach, Charles Echiverri, who helped me get back on track and regain control of my life. With her assistance, I was able to heal from the trauma and emerge as a stronger, more independent person. Looking back, I realize that my parents had instilled in me the value of independent thinking, which enabled me to overcome my challenges and find my path in life.

Greetings! I’m Gabriel Johnson, a creative individual who recently relocated to Denver in July. I am passionate about dance, visual art, and design. My interest in AI, web 3, and virtual reality has been growing lately, and I have been exploring the virtual world through these mediums.

Dance has been an integral part of my life since it propelled me into the fashion modeling industry. I possess a wealth of experience in mentoring and personal development, which has honed my skills in networking and negotiation.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The opportunity to share my story with fellow creatives is invaluable. It enables us to draw inspiration from the challenges they have overcome on their path to success. Connecting with other individuals in the creative industry fosters a unique sense of confidence that is truly remarkable.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

For quite some time, I’ve harbored a desire to establish my own fashion brand. It’s fascinating to observe numerous creative individuals showcasing their art on clothing, and I find it truly impressive. The ability to conceptualize an idea and transform it into a fashionable piece of clothing is truly remarkable. Consequently, I have been engrossed in a discreet, small-scale project to bring my aspirations to fruition.
