Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gabori Partee Sr. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gabori, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea for my business and moniker based off the system used to rate us in the USMC. There was an evaluation called a Fitness Report. The fitness report was used to let us know where we excelled and where we were falling short in particular areas of our military jobs. We called them “Fitreps” for short.
So When I got out of the military, I wanted to make a news column for health and fitness called, the fitness report. But instead adopted the name “The Fitness Representative” instead. It became my business name and my nickname.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Gabori M Partee Sr Former US Marine Sargent
Father of 3
15 year fitness professional
As a health coach and fitness pro, I’m in the business of bringing my clients face to face with who they are inside and out. Not just physically…but mentally and emotionally also.
What sets me apart from other professionals is my ability to connect with clients on a deeper level.
I’m most proud of my ability to create a fitness lane for myself and thrive in the business of helping others strive towards and achieve their goals.
I want clients to know that I think you can do anything you put your mind, body, and spirit to. Good health is multifaceted and needs to be address from multiple directions.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media by using the connections I gained through seminars, travel, and being seen doing what I love in public. My number one piece of advice is to actually live what you put out on social media.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Coming out of the military, I ended up losing my top secret clearance, which meant I could no longer be in the IT profession at that time. So even though I was down and out, I leaned into what came most natural and filled me with joy. FITNESS!!!
