Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Gabby Forlano. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Gabby, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
After graduating college with a degree in Kinesiology I became a certified personal trainer with a niche for mindful movements. I combined two of my passions, helping people and understanding that movement and exercise have a major impact on mental, physical, and emotional health. While working at shared space gyms, I noticed that the set and setting was not optimal for time effective goal achievement. The idea was created right before Covid. I came up with the idea to start my own personal training studio because I wanted to give my clients the highest potential of achieving their set goals in the most supportive environment. I wanted trainers and clients to feel safe and able to focus on bettering their mental and physical health in a private space that allowed optimal focus.
Gabby, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Gabby Forlano I own Culture Training Club, a personal training studio in Pacific Beach. Our focus is on exceling in mind and body wellness. Culture Training Club offers personal training, online training, certification trainings, and private wellness events. Our wellness events are open to the public and foster a mindful wellness community. As a client at Culture Training Club you have the highest potential of achieving your goals in a private setting with experienced support. If you feel the want to better your mind and body this is your opportunity.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients has been through referrals, word of mouth, and first time client assessments that can be booked on our website. When someone has had a session at Culture Training Club they understand the benefits of a wellness plan and the impact it will have on their future. Building trust with a client allows for them to feel comfortable referring someone who might benefit as well. This has been my favorite way to foster a community.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
At Culture Training Club we keep in touch with clients during their wellness plan with our app messenger, texts, and phone calls. We also keep in touch with past, present, and future clients using email updates of future events and a blog where you can find health and wellness tips. Our brand loyalty is fostered by our personal trainers superior knowledge and true caring support for our clients that they can feel and see.
