Futuristic , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

Around the age of eight years old, I wanted to be an artist as I drew often. Things around me, cartoon characters, etc-family members could draw as well.

I was so free when drawing. I drew Jordan shoes often. A classmate Johnathan W. drew shoes all the time and I was inspired to draw my own pairs with brand logos as well.

Drawing was a part of my daily life/ I also colored my pictures. I took my first art test at 11. I was accepted into an Art Institute out of state. But, didn’t pursue it because my dream of being any artist was short lived when I shared with family I wanted to be an artist and I was told artist don’t make any money….that dreamed left.

Futuristic , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Futuristic Edge brings the presence of style and the future of ingenuity within fashion. The innovation behind the brand was inspired by a grandma’s custom fabric choices and designs. It piqued the founder’s interest in shoes, which became the driving force behind the creation of this brand.

We specialize in fashion globally. Not just the now. The future as we were ahead of our times before the times became present. We are known for selling exclusive kicks, and exclusive items. More so, we specialize in making each deal a customized experience. This is what separates us. We care about our clients/customers. We secure what they need/want.

We are most proud of organic growth and getting out doing the leg work. Many companies or sellers do not want to get their hands dirty at times or want to pay people to do it. The owner does 90% of the leg work to lead by example.

We want people to learn about Futuristic Edge roots of how we originated from Pine Bluff,AR. City of high crime and poverty. But full of fashion and eccentric vibes. Globally, people think “Streetwear” is a cool term when literally our brand was rooted in the streets. Many of our clients lived indifferent lifestyles and are musicians. That’s what makes fashion unique. Trends develop. And people aspire.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Indeed. The goal and mission whether it is growing Futuristic Edge or any business, personal endeavor is to become your best self. We can give countless stories in business. What worked, what didn’t work. Who aided, who do not…

The key thing here is love wins every time despite the world’s disparities! We all have life happening, ups/downs, high/lows but becoming your higher self will guide others through your character. Many people are walking around broken, hurt, lost and of dismay. How can you as a person fuel charismatic energy to those souls?

It’s not about being positive, it’s about walking in God’s image. Even if God hasn’t found you-ask yourself this when going outside to view nature’s ambience, “did a human create the sky? The sun? Etc…

There is a higher power that’s divine and we must become our higher selves to encourage others to see the best in themselves, even when we may not be out best at times.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Being alive! We are in a borrowed world, so our time here is limited! Everyday is unpredictable as we do not know what tomorrow brings. In that case, make the best of what is at hands.

As an artist and creator in fashion, the most rewarding aspect of creating is freedom. Being able to not be restricted in creativity, networking and socializing through different forms of artistry. Sometimes, we can get so caught up in the masses and lose true identity of what drove you to art and creating.

Whether you are where you want to be in your craft or not-do not give up! Just keep preparing yourself and stay consistent!
