We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Frederick Beaty. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Frederick below.
Alright, Frederick thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Our mission is “To tell it like it is…period!”
The reason that created this mission statement is based on the fact that there are platforms that don’t tell the truth or when they do, they give a half truth or tell a lie. I live by this creed. When we talk about a subject, we choose to tell it like it is, which means telling the truth!!! If we can’t be truthful we can never have the impact that we need to have on the people we reach!!!

Frederick, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
We are a podcast platform that serves and talks about a variety of subjects. We speak to artist, authors, business owners, spiritual and community leaders. The thing that set ups apart form others is that we cater to our guest and we have real conversations about real subjects.
I am proud of the fact that we have grown as a business and as a platform.
I want potential guest to know that we will always approach and speak to you with respect for you, respect for you brand, your mission and your time. It is our goal to give world class service to our guests.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
This was a life pivot. After my son died, I was in a very dark place. I had no clear direction of where I wanted to go or where I wanted to be. I questioned my existent and why i was on this earth and what purpose was here to fulfill. over the years I became detached, reclusive and very moody. It wasn’t until i spoke with a good friend of mine that I saw myself going down a road of destruction. I realized that my purpose was to be someone who spoke the truth about men’s mental health and try to get like minded men aboard for that mission, and if i could use my own mental health journey as that starting point or catalyst then I was happy to be transparent with my own journey.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Something I thought rang true was that folks would understand what you say or type. Well, that is was a lesson that I had to reverse very quickly. I was moderating one of my host podcast and i had said something that got other people’s pages that i was aligned with demonetized, and even though i had apologized the damage was done and it resulted in losing a host. I had learned an invaluable lesson: That the words you say or type can be interpreted very differently form other people that listen or see them
