Hi Frankie , thanks for joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

My path of learning my craft as an orator began with a profound & unfair challenge. As a child I suffered from a severe stutter and mutism. Thus my goal of becoming a great speaker seemed as though my vision didn’t align with my reality. This left me with a choice. Change my vision or change my reality. The vision was too real to me, plus I just couldn’t walk away so I chose to change the latter. I had to re-learn to speak in my mid 20’s. I studied professional speakers and began to watch and learn from some of the great orators of our day. I watched their cadence and position when they spoke. To become a great speaker, you must first learn to become a great listener. Once I understood how words worked, I began to study the cadence and presentation of great speakers and found my own delivery as an orator.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

When others are inspired by any of my work, I’m always so humbled. It’s one of my greatest rewards. It’s truly a beautiful sentiment to find inspiration in inspiring others.The cycle of inspiration is a powerful force that connects us all, weaving a tapestry of shared experiences, insights, and creativity. To know that your words, creations, or actions have sparked inspiration in someone else is a profound reward that speaks to the impact and influence you hold in the lives of others.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Absolutely, to inspire anyone who takes the time to witness my artistry. I feel this should be the purpose of any artist or business owner. Of course, any business owner desires to create wealth, but this can’t be our central focus. I teach never chase money, chase purpose. When you are good at what you do, they will pay you for it. I’m inspired and driven to make change around me. I’m not turned away by problems, I’m inspired by them. A problem gives the opportunity to create another option, setbacks give the opportunity to refocus and failures will always show you what needs to be done differently. If my businesses and artistry can inspire others to learn these lessons, then I claim success for my work.
