We were lucky to catch up with Frank Koreman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Frank, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
What began with artisanal, kitchen-table prepared limoncello grew into a serious company with a clear mission: To celebrate burgundy life together with quality, flavorful cellos, which by now have also received multiple awards! The Burgundian life has been nurtured from an early age. My mother owned a delicacy shop for many years, and took home “her work” every weekend! We believe it is important to celebrate every moment of life, which can be done perfectly together with our products. That is why we like to say: CELLO BRATE LIFE!

Our journey began several years ago when I developed a passion for the art of crafting fine citrus liqueurs. I was inspired by the flavors and aromas that could be extracted from these incredible fruits. Driven by my passion and a desire to share my creations with others, I embarked on a mission to establish Koreman’s and bring high-quality limoncello to our community. With dedication, perseverance, and the support of a talented team, we have successfully grown into a thriving business.
At Koreman’s, our primary focus is on producing exceptional citrus liqueurs that captivate the senses and offer an exquisite taste experience. We carefully select the finest lemons, hand-picked at their peak of ripeness, to ensure the utmost flavor and quality. Each batch of limoncello is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, combining traditional techniques with modern innovation to create a truly unique and delightful product.
One of the core problems we aim to solve for our clients is the lack of accessible, high-quality limoncello options. We understand that finding an authentic and superior limoncello can be challenging, especially outside of Italy. Therefore, we strive to provide our customers with a product that is as close to the traditional Italian recipe as possible, all while using locally sourced ingredients.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Every day we are still searching for even greater reach on social media! It is common knowledge that social media has a huge impact on your direct reach, as well as the power of your brand. This can chafe at times, but when you have the right balance between brand awareness and brand strength, it will pay off. In order to achieve your company’s goals.
Our advice to you is; Don’t rush your social media, try to perfectly map the needs of your target audience first! Then experiment and analyze, to find out if your analysis works in practice. This will be a process of much failure, but also much learning.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for Koreman’s has been a combination of targeted online research and personal interactions. We believe in working with retailers who share our enthusiasm for our products and are passionate about offering their customers the best possible experience.
To find potential retailers, we conduct thorough online research to identify businesses that align with our values and have a strong presence in the market. We look for retailers who demonstrate an appreciation for high-quality products and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Once we identify these potential partners, we take the initiative to reach out to them directly. We believe in the power of personal connections, so we prefer to establish contact by calling them and initiating a conversation. This allows us to introduce ourselves, discuss our products, and gauge their interest and enthusiasm.
If there is mutual interest, we arrange meetings with the retailers to further explore the possibility of working together. These meetings provide us with an opportunity to present our products in person, share our story, and understand the retailer’s needs and expectations. We believe that a perfect fit between our brand and the retailer’s values is essential for a successful partnership.
As Koreman’s has grown in reputation and recognition, we have noticed an increase in the number of inquiries from potential collaborators. As the name of our brand gains prominence, more people are interested in working together and becoming brand ambassadors. We consider this a testament to the quality and appeal of our products.
Additionally, winning prestigious awards has greatly contributed to our success and visibility. One notable achievement was receiving the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition) award in London a couple of years ago. This recognition not only boosted our credibility but also served as a powerful marketing tool. It helped us attract more attention from retailers and customers alike, solidifying our position as a top-quality limoncello brand.
