We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Francisco Zangerolame a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Francisco, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Life is extremely short one day you are on the top of the world the other you are in a hospital bed with the right side of your brain and body out on vacation, learning to walk, and to respect your body limits again, to enjoy a second chance in life, is a must, stress can kill, keep it under control, yes keep building businesses as you go, but keep the balance as you go, sleep 8 hours, find the time to enjoy a hobby, volunteer your time to help someone that needs helps, sometimes alone sometimes as part of a group, turn off your phone, limit your TV time to less than 3 hour / week, its a good 2 hour movie, and 4 chunk of 15 minutes of anything news, Netflix etc.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Francisco Jose Zangerolame, moved to the USA in 1994, and best decision I ever made, working with Mike Wald in Florida, we are selling real estate and making the dreams of many families become a reality. When I am not selling real estate, I am enjoying my hobbies, writing about Yoga and Meditation started as an exercise, after my 2019 stroke, but as a web entrepreneur soon I realized how to convert a hobby into a mini-business, the Yoga blogged was followed by a Come to Texas blog, writing about the experience of living in Texas, I am not trying to save the whole world, but if I can help one person, change or make someone’s life I little lighter my mission is completed. Then one day a young writer from Brazil, yes now I am publishing English and Portuguese stories to the Yoga blog, asked my why people are giving their pictures for free at Pexels.com, and I did not know the answer, I figure out the only way to answer the question was to give the site a try. I being taking pictures with my Nikon since 2010…and keeping all those picture to myself…I started selecting one or two here and there, and the site generously lets you place links to your business from your profile, well it started with 1/2 / day now averages 1000+ / day, and if you are web entrepreneur you know traffic = income.
I plan to work a couple of more years with real estate sales, but I see myself, creating more blogs, as monetizing the content and the traffic.
And all this can be done anywhere in the planet as long you have an internet connection, selling a house is possible, a bit challenging, but possible, but blogging is something I always wanted to do, the results will not come instantly and all/any shortcut may work for a while but on the next update of the search engines, it will work against you. Hard work, having a plan and vision…wash rinse and repeat.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
After the 2019 stroke, I was angry with the Universe why me, it took me a while, to learn that what does not kill you will make your stronger, learn the value of your time, plan yours tasks better, Monday Real Estate, Tuesday affiliate marketing, Wed back links, Thursday brainstorming, Friday SEO. Saturday Hobbies, Sunday nothing Learn to delegate.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Good content, find what you are good at, I am good at server admin, backups, and recently after a hack, malware removal, finding a good team of writer that understand your mission, and follow guidelines, and deliver on time with quality…there is not shortcut for good content.
Some tools will help Buffer/Hootsuite is a great scheduling tool, Canvas for graphics/videos, HashTastic… I currently using the paid version of all these tools but in the early days, I used the free versions and they did just fine, and once I was ready to step up, I started using the Pro versions, find the tool that work best for you Google Calendar is free, Google Sheets also free, and you share with a staff writer on the other side of the World.
Fiverr content writers are amazing.
