Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Francesca Marcos. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Francesca thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I’ve always been very passionate about what I do, including taking care of the environment.
Before the pandemic, I used to manufacture every item of my brand, FRSA CLUB, in my home country, Venezuela. Every little detail had a thought behind it, and everything was made in the best possible working conditions. aka. caring about materials, workers, packaging, etc. When the pandemic came, I had to find a solution to start producing everything here in the U.S., so I did. That’s when the brand went up. Not only sales, but in recognition and appreciation.
After some good months, I started shifting into other businesses I had, and abandoned my brand a little, mostly because I had no free time, but also because I was unmotivated. It there wasn’t some type of meaning behind it, more than just selling, I didn’t want it. Thinking and thinking, I came to the conclusion of what I do wanted to do and how I wanted to reinvent myself and my brand – switching to SUSTAINABILITY. But hey, the real one.
This is not about making new clothes using sustainable materials, this goes way deeper, and onto the past! What? Yes! Clothes with history, taking those second hand amazing pieces, and re-designing them. Converting them into a FRSA piece. How? With my own hands. I will cut, sew, and change an existing piece and give it a second life, a second home. All of the pieces will be thoughtfully selected, and therefore transformed. Each will have its own story to tell, and will be unique.
I can’t wait to bring this dream into reality, and I can just say that this is the most passionate I’ve felt for creating something new, with a purpose. Stay tuned!

Francesca, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I graduated specifically as a Graphic Designer, which I combined with fashion, and created my clothing brand. With this, I experienced what was like to design and create your own branding, website, content, social media platforms, and ads. Even on how to participate and sale at local events. From here, I started to explore what was like to do kind of the same for other brands, that needed to expand and grow. I started creating content for them, managing their social platforms, working on their events, ads, etc. I met lots of new people, and found that I not only had a passion for my own things, but on helping others too. I started having some good clients, and thats when I shifted on working remotely and became a marketing specialist as well.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Know your core. Know your limits. Know your story. Know yourself.
Before building something, you got to build yourself. Who are you? What do you want? Where do you see yourself? These are some of the questions I keep asking myself, which help me to stay on track with who I really am. Always coming back to my true self. I can say I have never experienced “hate” in a direct way because I always stick to my values. It doesn’t matter where you get, who you meet, staying humble and true to myself is what matters the most. Being authentic, not letting the world change you in a negative way is the key to success in my opinion. All of this, is what the market or your audience will see and most importantly, feel. Everything is energy, so when you put the right energy in the right places, it is most likely to succeed.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
That moment where I had my 2 seconds of fame hahaha. I was in Jacksonville Beach, with some friends for my birthday. I remember that at that time I used to only wear my clothing brand, and nothing else. We were walking around after having breakfast, when all of a sudden a girl came down her car, and jumped on top of me giving me the most exciting hug. She said “I LOVE YOUR BRAND, I LOVE YOU.” We took a picture together, and I was shocked because I couldn’t believe what was happening. Not because she recognized me or wanted to take a picture, but because she felt welcomed to do so. THIS is what I want people to feel when following me or my brand: welcomed, understood, real, and that I am there for anything, anytime. I am as human as you, and nothing else.
