We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Frances Wholey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Frances below.
Hi Frances , thanks for joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
At 51 years old, I was diagnosed w stage 4 breast cancer. Gave everything way @ that point, started completely over. Needed art work, went to Michael’s and the rest is history. Discovered that I had a hidden talent – I was naturally really good! Never painted a thing in my life!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I entered a clinical cancer trial program, for 11 years and did 180 rounds of a trial drug. Got it FDA approved. All the while developing my painting craft. My criteria for each piece is to only paint joy! I love color!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I have a strong faith – Christian, and I totally believe God has a plan for me. My artwork is testimony to that. Now having painted for over a decade and survived breast cancer and brain surgery- my artwork is meant to inspire and radiate joy!

My goal is to buy a home where I can paint larger pieces.
