We were lucky to catch up with Flip and Dani Robison recently and have shared our conversation below.
Flip and Dani, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
The driving force behind the family of companies is the vertical integration that controls all aspects of the real estate transaction by having everything in house. It’s easy for a contractor or an outside Realtor or a property management company to kill a deal because their interests aren’t aligned with ours. By creating all companies under one umbrella, the entire team is aligned with one focus of taking care of our clients from A to Z and that’s how we sustainably grow and win together. That doesn’t mean problems don’t exist, of course they do and they always will. However every company works together to achieve a common goal and anyone we need to reach in order to help solve a problem is just a phone call away or a quick walk down the hallway.

Flip and Dani, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Flip & Dani Lynn got into real estate in 2008 and have invested across the United States throughout their career doing short sales, mortgage assignments, subject to, wrap around mortgages, land contracts, coaching and eventually moved to Ohio to build a turnkey real estate company. The Freedom Family of Companies was started in Ohio in 2017 starting with Freedom Real Estate Group, a turnkey real estate company. Soon after, Bulldog Renovations was formed due to a lack of trustworthy contractors and our desire to have an in-house team ensuring our assets were being rehabbed according to our property standards. Independence Property Management was formed next after going through 5 different property management companies and not getting the service necessary to build lifelong relationships with our investors. Property management is the cornerstone of any turnkey company and required superior service that we weren’t getting anywhere else. Along with property management, we built a brokerage division to handle all of our retail flips in house and allow any of our team to get licensed and hang their license in house. Cash 4 Ohio Houses was built out next because the wholesaling network we used to acquire deals dried up and we realized that in order for our family of companies to survive and thrive, we had to take control of finding our own inventory. Freedom Capital Investments was the last company created (so far) to build out a commercial division and invest in multifamily and self storage assets in order to build passive income for our family of companies and team. This not only is a vision for our FOC but it allows us to let our investors come along for the ride.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
The goal was to start building traction and trust for company and educating listeners how to start building passive income and begin investing passively in our upcoming opportunities. Its goal was to simply get more content out there that may attract more organic traffic and improve our brand recognition.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Our reputation was built always doing what’s best for our investors. While the investment world can’t promise certain results, what we can promise is that we work with investors to meet their needs, even as those needs change. While that may sometimes mean getting out of an investment sooner than planned, the strength of our collective fund allows us to place the needs of Freedom investors first, while preserving the value of the investment.
