We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Flavio Oliveira a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Flavio, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us a bit about who your hero is and the influence they’ve had on you?

Undoubtedly, my greatest heroes are my father and my mother. My Father for as long as I can remember, I’ve witnessed his unwavering dedication to professional growth, hard work, and sacrifice. He invested countless hours to provide for our family, ensuring my sister and I could attend the best schools and receive the finest education. Throughout it all, he never neglected his role as a father and remained a constant presence in our lives. I must also acknowledge my mother, whose indispensable support was integral to this journey – she is undoubtedly my other heroine.

Flavio, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

In order to understand my current position, I need to go back to June 2015 when I arrived in the United States with the goal of establishing my own marketing agency in Miami. DMFO Business Solutions was born from the idea of providing services to clients and companies with whom I already had relations in Brazil, utilizing my professional skills acquired through years of working in multinational corporations. In the course of time, the demand for real estate services grew, and we established a specialized department for this sector. This led to the development of significant projects and increased interest in the real estate market, ultimately resulting in the creation of Nomad Luxury Properties in partnership with Rafael Motta, who was a Realtor at the time and now is a Broker. The concept behind Nomad Luxury Properties was to address a specific market need by guiding foreign investors from the outset of their real estate journey, including fund transfer, property selection, and property management, ensuring comprehensive assistance throughout the entire process.

How’d you meet your business partner?

I first met Rafael Motta through mutual friends, but our relationship really took off when I had the opportunity to work with him through my marketing agency, DMFO Business Solutions. I was responsible for repositioning his personal and brand image as a Realtor, which included creating his logo, developing social media content, taking photos and videos of properties, and designing his website. Our successful collaboration led to the formation of Nomad Luxury Properties, where we combined our individual skills to take on new and challenging projects.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

It is undoubtedly the current challenge to establish a reputation for our new company, Nomad Luxury Properties. This reputation is built on the years of work that have led us to where we are today. The way we conduct our life and our business, with altruism and honesty, without a doubt is a key pillar to building a reputation that will yield positive results for us in the near future through commitment and hard work.
