Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Firoze Patel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Firoze, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?

Music Composing & Audio-Post Production is what I survive on. I started my career as a Drummer at the age of 7 & played for some of the leading Bands such as “Fire N Ice” , ” NightBirds” etc. As I kid, I was introduced to movies like Star Wars , Jurassic Park , Omen , Jaws etc and the Background Score of these movies would always attract my attention. Somewhere deep down I always knew I wanted to get into mainstream Music Scoring & working for Movies. Moving on, I studied Orchestration & Composing and worked as an assistant Composer to gain some experience. Soon, i stumbled upon Kaizad who i deicded to join hands with and work as team to Compose as well as handle other Audio-Post Production departments like Sound Fx , Dialogue Cleaning & Processing, Mixing & Mastering in 5.1 Surround. This Brought the establishment of our Company “Soundkraft Studios”. We got our first break on a 3D Animation Feature Film called “Super K” which was released world-wide on OTT Platforms and selected theatres. Time was quiet difficult in the initial stage with setting up our own studio , buying all the expensive equipment , paying rent etc when we had just started our journey. Moving on, we expanded our company and brought in a few Sound Designers to work together on our projects and handle the Sound Fx & Sound Designing. .Today, we can finally say we have more than 70 Live Action/Animated Feature Films , Series & Games under our belt. But even today, we have to keep pushing ourselves to grow more and more each day, work on new projects and unleash the talent within us.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

One common goal which we share as a team is to grow together , get ourselves more recognition & more Movie Credits to our Name.

Whatever project we work on, big or small, we make sure we put in our hearts and provide the best possible result .

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

I believe Creation/creativity comes from the energies that exist in the Universe. Music is very closely connected to Nature. And through Music & Creation I get to stay connected to Nature, to the universe . The stronger the bond , the more creative outcome.

Also, good outcome brings more Fame , brings more projects , takes you closer to your dreams & above all , you feel satisfied.
