We recently connected with Fernando Flores and have shared our conversation below.

Fernando , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

For me, my biggest risk was to have the courage to do what I truly love doing: Audiovisuals. Storytelling. I always like to think that I’m capable of doing whatever I want to. If I wanted to, I could’ve been a doctor, lawyer, athlete etc. At the end of the day, I chose this path.

So even though it’s not an easy road, I enjoy the process of being where I want to be. I take risks everyday in each decision on my business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Fernando Flores, born in Mexico, and I have been residing in the United States since 2011. After working in various industries, my strong conviction to continue doing what I love pushed me to open my video production company in 2021 called FLOWWERZ PRODUCTIONS LLC. And after a year, I started KREATIVO BOX, a Digital Marketing agency, alongside my partner and friend, Luis Fernando Brenes. We specialize in creating content for businesses, website development, social media management, and digital marketing strategies in Atlanta. We have expanded and worked with a wide range of industries, including food, restaurants, construction, entertainment, promotions, and corporate sectors. We also have clients in North Carolina and Florida.

Undoubtedly, what we value the most about our service is the visual ideas for brand content creation. We are skilled at accurately identifying the target audience for each industry and focus on creating customized content tailored to the client’s needs. We propose strategies that work in the short, medium, and long term to achieve established goals, without imposing conditions or services that the business doesn’t truly need or prioritize at the moment. The success of our clients is our success as well. It speaks to our commitment to delivering results and our enthusiasm for growing alongside our clients.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the things I had to eliminate from my mind was the belief that money was something bad. I never received financial education at home, and money was never discussed. During my adolescence, I got caught up in anti-capitalist ideologies that further distanced me from financial education. So, in most of my twenties, my only focus was on perfecting my camera skills and nothing else. In the end, it served me well, but I wasted a lot of time in capitalizing on my talent to generate income from it. Now I know that money is not bad at all, but quite the opposite. It is my tool, not the end goal. Now I have learned, and I continue to learn every day. I carefully plan my next financial move, ask questions, and conduct research. This is vital if one wants to have a successful business.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?

Not everyone can do business with their friends. But I was able to, and I feel blessed because of it. My partner, Luis Fernando, has been my friend since we were 6 years old. We met in school in Mexico. When I first founded FLOWWERZ PRODUCTIONS, Luis mentioned that he wanted to try something different because he no longer wanted to work for SUSUZKI. So, I started offering website services to my clients when I did videos or photography for them. That’s when we worked remotely for 6 months and founded KREATIVO BOX. Then, Luis came to live here in Atlanta to continue working and provide our clients with our best services, and to this day, everything is going smoothly!
