Fernanda, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.
When I started studying aesthetics, I thought of the expatriate women like me who arrive in the country many times without speaking the English and the lack of this care, so common in Brazil, messed with the self-esteem of these women. In addition, I saw the need for a differentiated and more affectionate care within this area.
In addition, I tried to unify the techniques in the most prestigious services in the world aesthetic market by taking improvement courses in the U.S., Brazil and France, making Mudra Beauty the only aesthetic service center with totally differentiated and exclusive techniques.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
When I moved to the US in 2015, I spoke almost no English and that limited me to doing the simplest things in everyday life. In 2018 with much more confidence and understanding the language well, I chose aesthetics as a new career start with the intention of helping people, especially women who sought skin care so that they would feel welcomed during their treatments.
I am very proud when I see that I made a difference in the lives of my clients and that they leave my clinic happier than when they entered. And this is because they receive a treatment that involves a lot of study and done with a lot of love. I believe that the work done at Mudra Beauty clearly shows the dedication I put into each service.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I believe it is constancy, to be constant on social networks with content that is relevant to your clientele. Educational, interesting content that shows that you care about your audience and that you know what you say. Be constant and consistent.

I have direct communication with my customers, my WhatsApp number, direct message and social media chat are answered directly by me with agility and clarity. This type of communication generates connection and my clients feel safe when they have any questions about their treatments.
