Being a PR and Digital Marketing strategist is so hard to define in Corporate America nowadays. Social Media has made it easier to connect with people from all over the world, but it doesn’t necessarily develop a relationship. One of the biggest challenges I have seen is the poor perception of a job like mine.
Customers expect 1 person to be wearing multiple hats, they think that because you can develop a brand strategy you should also be a content creator, videographer, editor, copywriter, community manager and be closing partnerships, all at the same time.
Being a PR and Digital Marketing strategist requires the ability to build relationships, create content strategies, and effectively target potential customers. It requires an understanding of how to use digital tools such as social media, SEO, and email marketing to reach the right audiences and generate positive results. It also means staying up-to-date on the latest trends in digital marketing to ensure campaigns are successful. Ultimately, a PR and Digital Marketing strategist needs to be creative, analytical, organized, and have strong communication skills.

Once upon a time, in the vibrant city of Mexico City, I, Fernanda Aceves, was a young dreamer with big aspirations in the world of PR and digital marketing. Growing up in a sports-oriented family, my journey into the industry took an unexpected path.
From a young age, I had a natural inclination towards creativity and a deep passion for events, fashion, and travel. Little did I know that these early interests would pave the way for my future endeavors. After completing my bachelor’s degree in Hotel Business Management, my thirst for knowledge and ambition led me to pursue a scholarship to do a master’s degree in Luxury Business Administration in the captivating city of Paris.
Paris, the city of romance and haute couture, had a profound impact on my life. Surrounded by the glamour of the fashion world, I was inspired to blend my love for events and fashion with my business acumen. It was in the heart of Paris that I witnessed the transformative power of PR and digital marketing in the luxury industry. The art of storytelling fascinated me, as I saw how it could forge connections between brands and their audiences. At that moment, I knew I had found my true calling.
With renewed determination, I crossed the Atlantic and went back to Mexico City, where I immersed myself in the corporate world, gaining over a decade of valuable experience. Each project and campaign sharpened my skills and reputation, solidifying my position as a force to be reckoned with in the industry. I had the opportunity to work at Top companies, such as Montblanc, Grupo Habita, HOLA! and CIE.
I moved for a short period of time to the bustling concrete jungle of New York City, this was a time for me to focus on my self growth and career goals.
However, my entrepreneurial spirit yearned for more. It was time for me to unleash my unique vision and make a difference on my own terms. Fueled by passion and armed with knowledge, I made the bold decision to start my own PR and digital marketing agency.
