We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Felicia Allen a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Felicia, appreciate you joining us today. We’ve love to hear an interesting investment story – what was one of the best or worst investments you’ve made? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)

When I was in my early & late 20’s, I never knew anything about my personal credit or even how to manage my credit. I was putting things in my credit left and right not knowing the consequences or effects it would have on my life later down the line. I didn’t know how it would affect me and my future families future. Not knowing how important having good credit was compared to having a lot of money. I made poor financial decisions that led to a poor credit score. On top of that, at the age of 27, I had my first child. Which I was still in a bad financial position on top of having bad credit. I didn’t know how I was going to make it at a time. I was tired of being financially broke and seeing my credit score so low to the point I couldn’t get approved for anything. I didn’t want to continue wasting money on a credit agency to fix my credit for me because I never seen any results like they would always promise. I just wanted to be financially free and stable to support me and my daughter. I remember thinking, how will I ever have my name on anything that pertained to buying a home or even buying a car.

That all changed in 2021! I kept seeing someone promote a DIY credit repair program on Facebook that was literally showing people how to fix their own credit. The step by step blueprint ion how to fix/build your own credit! On top of the program showing others how to fix their own credit, I was seeing those same individuals earn weekly deposits from just sharing the program with others. I kept seeing testimonials day in and day out! Every time I would log into Facebook, I would see something new and exciting about the program. I didn’t have anything to lose anymore so I decided to invest into the program so I could learn for myself what I was never taught growing up, learning how to manage and fix my own credit. A plus would also be me earning income from promoting the DIY credit program so others could have the same opportunity as me to fix their credit on top of earn extra income themselves. I wanted to help myself and start a business with this investment opportunity.

My life changed from that investment into myself. I not only went from a 603 credit score to a 839 in 4 1/2 months but I permanently removed collections that I never thought could be removed off my credit report. I learned the importance of credit! I fixed my own credit and didn’t have to waste any more money on any type of credit agency to get the credit score I deserved. I also was able to help over 1,000+ people around the world fix their own credit and earn extra income all from their smartphones using social media. I turned a small investment into a 6 figure business from simply showing others a better way to fix their credit and change their financial situations. Helping others grow and reach their goals is an important aspect of my life now. I want to see everyone win!

Felicia, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I became a single mother at the age of 27 to a beautiful baby girl not realizing how hard it would be. My credit was messed up and literally had no money. I didn’t have my own place, I was living with family. I barely could afford my car payment or let alone diapers. I was down to really nothing. It seemed like I never could catch a break. At the same time of being pregnant, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. I knew he would recover. But he didn’t. My daughter was born on May 12, 2015 & then my dad passed away July 1st. I was broken. Trying to raise a child on my own while dealing with my dad’s passing was the most heart-wrenching thing I’ve ever been through. I couldn’t even mourn because the same day, I had hernia surgery. The day he passed. I was so lost. I was trying to finish my degree in Criminal Justice and seemed like I couldn’t catch a break. Through all of this, I became friends with my daughter’s stepmom (which is my best friend now) and in those moments, my life changed for the better. She got me a full-time job where she was working, Amazon. And helped me find who God is! I knew I had to make money but working was not enough for me. I needed freedom. I didn’t want to be away from my newborn daughter. I wanted to live life on my own terms. Shortly after, we both became homeless and lived out of hotels. She was still working at Amazon bringing in the income so we could survive. We knew one thing for sure, we had to stick together because all we had was each other.

One day I was Facebook and I kept seeing women saying they were making money online and I wanted to understand how. I started off promoting a toothpaste company that I really didn’t understand how to promote so never really made and money. Then I found a company that taught me how to promote digital services. That’s where my journey to a better credit score & to making money online from my smartphone really began. I made thousands within my first few months. But I knew I needed more to really provide for us. I graduated college with my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice but had no idea how hard it would be to find a job that would accept me with no experience. I found another company that allowed me to make money online from my smartphone and then another. Two years ago, I started a dropshipping business teaching others how to dropship and make money all from their smartphones. I cleared six figures but I became bored because I wanted to really focus on writing my book and knew I wanted to make more of an impact on women like me. At this point, we were no longer struggling, had a roof over our heads and had God to thank for everything we went through to get to this point.

On August 23rd, 2021, I invested with a company that gave me the blueprint to fix my own credit with a DIY credit program and allowed me to share the services with others to gain knowledge to fix their own credit as well. This felt right because I was not only helping myself fix my credit but also helping others and getting paid for it. I went from a 603 credit score to a 839 in 4 1/2 months and removed many collections that I didn’t know that could be removed! Credit is definitely something we were not taught growing up. So I knew I found my purpose that has opened many doors for me and thousands of others around the world. I’ve been working on my credit and almost where I need to be, showing others how to fix their own credit and how to make money online. It’s been a blessing because I’m working on my own book talking about my whole life story and have been able to see other people’s lives prosper. Unfortunately, my best friend passed away unexpectedly in December of 2021 and really put a different grind in me. She’s stood by me when I had no one but God and my grind. She believed in me and she knew I was destined for more. So now I’m going to live out both of our dreams, continue to take care of my 2 daughters so their futures are secure and boss all the way up. I’m about to go 10x harder and continue to impact the world. God has so much in store. If God is for me then no one can stand against me!

I want people to know, they do not have to struggle. There are options out here to help you to get to where you want to be in life financially. You just have to invest in yourself and know God will provide. Keep going and never give up!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

When my best friend passed away in December of 2021, I wanted to give up everything I had worked hard for. I felt like my life was over because my best friend was the one that believed in me the most. The one that always pushed me to my full potential when I couldn’t. I didn’t want to ruin my DIY credit repair business anymore. I didn’t want to continue building at all.

But I sat down one day and prayed. I sat down and really thought about how far I had come and how far I wanted to go in life not only to help myself but help others around the world. I wanted my daughters to have a better life than me. I wanted them to flourish in life.

I didn’t give up. I keep pushing and because of that, I reached the highest rank in the business and company with this DIY credit program. I have helped over 1,000 people fix their own credit and have shown them how to start their own business to earn a living. I now have an excellent credit score & 6 figure business as well. My daughters will understand the importance of persevering and to never give up on their dreams and never give up on themselves. They will know the importance of being financially stable and having good credit.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Being my authentic self and always keeping it real. Opening up and telling others about my life story and how I became financially free and how I overcame obstacles has really helped me. I wanted moms and women like myself to know that we may go through things in life but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Always be transparent and relatable. I want others to see if I can do it so can they. We must grow and show each other we can all win by sticking together and learning from each other. With God anything is possible. Just believe, work hard and have faith!
