We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Fefi & Ericka Rosado & Witkowski. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Fefi & Ericka below.
Fefi & Ericka , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Curator Project’s mission began years ago with a deeply personal journey. I (Fefi) often traveled to South America, where I became friends with many artists and became intertwined with the vibrant art community there. Each time I returned to Miami, I brought back beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that adorned my walls. Ericka, intrigued by these works, would ask about them, and I’d share the stories of the artists and the inspiration behind their creations.
It dawned on us that while unique artwork fascinated us, it often seemed out of reach and intimidating for many of our friends. Inspired by these artists and their incredible work, we founded Curator Project with the goal of making art an accessible and meaningful part of everyday life. Our mission is to cultivate art collections that enhance both homes and the lives of collectors by championing Latin American contemporary artists. By seamlessly blending creativity with daily living, we help build collections that reflect personal taste and cultural insight, offering expert guidance every step of the way.

Fefi & Ericka , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who may not be familiar with us or Curator Project, we’re Fefi and Ericka, co-founders of a venture that seamlessly blends our passions for art, design, and culture. Fefi’s journey began with a deep love for design and fashion, which led her to graduate from the Instituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. Over the years, she worked with various fashion designers, interior designers, and architects, cultivating a unique perspective on how to integrate art into everyday living. Ericka, on the other hand, brings over nine years of experience in South Florida’s real estate sector, where she has been involved in everything from master planning to home decor. This background gives her a keen understanding of space and how art can transform it.
Curator Project emerged naturally from our combined experiences and our shared love for travel, design, and connecting with different cultures. We represent both established and rising Latin American contemporary artists, and our mission is to help collectors build art collections that not only enhance their homes but also enrich their lives. We provide expert guidance in selecting pieces that reflect personal taste and cultural insight, making art an integral part of daily living.
What sets Curator Project apart is our personal approach. We don’t just sell art—we share the stories behind each piece, helping our clients connect with the work on a deeper level. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or someone just starting to explore the world of art, we’re here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring that the process is as inspiring and rewarding as the art itself.
One of the things we’re most proud of is how Curator Project has grown into more than just a business—it’s a platform for bringing incredible Latin American art to a wider audience and making it accessible to everyone. We’ve had the privilege of seeing how the right piece of art can completely transform a space and how it can bring joy and inspiration to the lives of our clients.
Ultimately, what we want people to know about Curator Project is that it’s a reflection of our passions and our commitment to making art a meaningful part of life. We’re here to help you build a collection that not only looks beautiful but also tells a story—your story, as well as the stories of the talented artists we represent.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
We met through a mutual friend, Jacob, who thought we would hit it off. He was right. A little over six years ago, we both found ourselves at Soho House for dinner, and it didn’t take long for us to connect over our shared love for travel, good food, art, and design. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and we quickly realized we had a lot in common, not just in our interests but also in our vision for the future. That dinner was the beginning of a great friendship, and we are now elated to say that Curator Project was born out of those conversations.
One lesson we’ve taken to heart from this experience is that you never know when you’re going to meet your next best friend, business partner, or even future husband or wife, right? That’s something we keep very present in our lives, and it’s also how we’ve met many of the artists we now represent. Being open to connections and opportunities has been a guiding principle for us, and it continues to shape our journey with Curator Project.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients for us at Curator Project has been through word-of-mouth referrals. Our existing relationships, especially with professionals like interior designers, developers, and architects whom we’ve worked with on previous projects, have been invaluable. They often recommend us to their clients and networks. Additionally, hosting private showings rather than large public events has proven extremely effective. These intimate gatherings allow us to connect personally with art enthusiasts and introduce them to the unique world of Latin American contemporary art. This approach has not only expanded our client base but also strengthened our relationships with existing clients and friends who appreciate and support our mission.
In our experience, we found that many people were intimidated by galleries or hesitant about starting their own art collections due to concerns about the expense involved. Addressing these concerns directly, we make it a point to reach out to potential clients who have expressed interest in learning about art or beginning their collections. By demystifying the process and making it more accessible, we’ve helped many start their art collections with us. This proactive approach has been a crucial lesson in leveraging our network and ensuring that we engage with our community in a meaningful way.
