We were lucky to catch up with Federica Molini recently and have shared our conversation below.
Federica , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Arte Bohéme began in 2015 as a personal channel to document my life in Miami, FL. After the arrival of my first child Federico, I began decorating as a way to connect with my creativity at home and to process my emotions while going through motherhood. What started as a hobby slowly transitioned into a decorating blog which later became a business with clients in the United Stated, The Caribbean and Central America.

Federica , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Federica Molini and I’m a Venezuelan designer Owner of Arte Bohéme founded in 2015. Arte Bohéme’s stylistic interest is to bring a unique blend of colors, patterns, and textures to the forefront of interior decorating while creating cozy and harmonious interiors with character.
My passion lies in crafting inviting spaces, each infused with its own distinctive character while mixing antique pieces with modern ones.
From documenting daily interior design projects at her home/office to staging spaces for clients & brands, Arte Bohéme has been involved in the design of residential and commercial projects in the United States, the Caribbean and Europe.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
It’s going to sound crazy but most of my clientele has come to me through word of mouth. I can’t emphasize enough how establishing an intimate relationship with your clients helps them refer you to their family or friends.
Being passionate about what you do and building a trustworthy relationship with your clients it’s not only key but it shows that your are in it with your heart and best intentions.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
So something that to me is extremely important is the ability to connect with all my clients in a personal level because It’s their home or business I’m decorating ( pretty intimate, I would say) So once the project has completed I always like to go back to them a few months later and check-up to see how they are doing and most importantly how they are feeling with their decorated space! I would say a good 80% stay in touch.
