We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Fay Inger a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Fay, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

The biggest risk I took was opening my YouTube channel, SoularFlow, and sharing my extra sensory gifts on a public platform. I really wanted to help people navigate spirituality and make it more approachable as everything we see in the world has a soul or energetic component to it. Maybe it’s repeatedly finding oneself in dangerous situations without the understanding of being a vibrational match for them or constantly feeling drained in large crowds not knowing it’s because you’re an empath. Only through discussing these sometimes nebulous topics can we bring greater awareness and clarity to what’s happening “behind the veil.”

So as uncomfortable as it can sometimes be, it’s important for me to be real, raw and honest about these subjects and my experiences so that like minded people seeking this clarity can find their tribe. With SoularFlow I am proud to have cultivated a diverse community ranging from spiritual newbies to advanced practitioners. It has evolved into a collaborative space with varied ideas and information and as a testament to that, in addition to my regular content, I also do monthly Ask Me Anything videos where I take requests from the community. This allows space not only for me, but my viewers to explore themes ranging from reincarnation to soul contracts, true crime and the energetic components behind celebrity culture. As one viewer commented, my channel is the perfect blend of entertainment and spirituality! And this is how I know I have achieved my goal of making spiritual topics attainable and even entertaining!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Growing up I had always been sensitive to energy and had a number of paranormal experiences at a young age. This was in the early 1980’s and well before searching the internet to learn about such things was available. I grew up thinking there was something wrong with me because no one understood it – so I suppressed my abilities and interest in mysticism and the esoteric.

While I did become a yoga teacher, I was mostly immersed in responsible pursuits – until I moved to Los Angeles. At this time, I listened to my inner calling and devoted myself solely to teaching yoga and energetic principles. However, 7 years later I was divorced with a young child to support, so I pivoted and worked in corporate America for 4 years. And while I was really good at my job, I knew something was missing. Ultimately the universe interjected and I was laid off at the beginning of Covid. This was also the start of my spiritual awakening and the stripping away of my old identity and old beliefs. This time period gave me the opportunity to strengthen my own spiritual practice in trusting that the universe would provide for me.

Now all I wanted was to bring healing and spiritual clarity to a world in chaos, so I surrendered to the gifts and abilities I had suppressed for so long and as I opened myself back up, my abilities came back fast, like a water faucet turned on. And with them came the rediscovery of my clairaudience, claircognizance, energy reading, astral traveling and remote viewing, mediumship and connecting to the akashic records, which is essentially a database of all past lives.

I now understand that we all have unique abilities and I use mine to help my clients reconnect to and develop theirs, discover their truly unlimited potential, as well as anything holding them back, and uncover their soul’s purpose and mission in being here.

I’ve also observed how most of our issues dissipate with the awareness of the spiritual and/or energetic explanation behind it. As a spiritual mentor I guide my clients in reframing their experiences through this lens, which leads to a more satisfying life and better interpersonal relationships.

But truly, the most fulfilling for me, and life altering for my clients is identifying and cutting the energetic cords that bind. In this guided meditation, I lead my client on an introspective journey to confront something or someone that has disempowered them or held them back energetically. In one session my client cut a cord with her limiting beliefs connected to money and financial abundance. At the end of the session, she realized that for her, money is an energy and not only an earned resource. In another session, I worked with a woman who had just left an abusive relationship and felt unhealthily connected to her abuser. At the end of the session she said she felt lighter and freer.

Supporting people in becoming aligned with the highest version of themselves brings me meaning and purpose. Sometimes it’s a late night call to Australia or a private yoga session in the park, but after doing this I can’t ever go back to a life that disconnects me from my abilities and allows me to provide spiritual clarity and comfort.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Integrity, honesty and authenticity. These are great attributes in any industry, but even more so in spirituality, otherwise it’s just bad juju. Integrity means not only showing up for a scheduled phone session but maintaining privacy with information shared with me. Honesty, because without it how can my clients trust what I say is true if I haven’t always been honest with them? And lastly, authenticity because without it I can’t encourage my clients to authentically be themselves if I don’t do the same. So I’m constantly working on myself, being the best version of myself and supporting my clients in doing the same.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Whether it’s private yoga sessions or connecting people to what they can’t see yet know to intuitively be true, it’s always been word of mouth in tandem with quantifiable results. My clients may love me as a person, but if I haven’t made a positive impact on their life they aren’t going to refer me to another soul. Having said that, it’s also important to not only listen but really hear what someone hopes to achieve by working with me and not project what I think they will benefit from onto them. Sometimes someone just needs confirmation that their own paranormal experiences are real or that the ESP gifts they believe they have, they do. We don’t always have to deliver the sun, moon and stars if all they want is the feeling of sunlight on their face.
