We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Farrah Hodgson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Farrah , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
One of My company’s mission is to uplift others, help others know their worth! Therefore “Daughter of the King represents that a woman is in the same family of the most high King
You are a royal priesthood……
Farrah , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Throughout my journey in life I have been through a lot, so it came to my attention that I should share my story, so I became a published author of 6 books. As I started to share my snippets of my books to social media a lot of people started reaching out to me to help them publish their books so I registered my LLC as a publishing company. I am able to help others share their testimonies and take their writing to the next level by publishing and using their book as a platform to venture into other opportunities. Using my God-given gift as an Author, I cultivate people’s stories of inspiration to be shared to all ages globally. Through my businesses, I have built opportunities for people that do not easily have access or resources because of their busy schedules of being parents, scholars, full-time workers and business owners. I offer authors options for print-on-demand publishing, e-publishing, coaching, and marketing strategies for their written works.
I am most proud that I am a single mother of five and I can handle all that being an owner of a business partakes
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
My resilience and perseverance I’ve been through everything that you can think of in life so that’s why people come to me to publish their book because they know I won’t judge their story judge them and their story I am relatable I am understanding I started out mentoring people and it flowed into them wanting to share their stories in books so I became their publisher.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I’m a single mom of five with my last pregnancy I had a tumor on my spine while I was pregnant and after I gave birth I was in so much pain that I had to remove the tumor and the surgeon ended up hitting a motor nerve which paralyzed me from waist down I knew the struggles I went through in my life that I had to share my stories to help others overcome but the last obstacle of me being paralyzed is when I actually got time to sit down and put together my books
