We were lucky to catch up with Far I Shields recently and have shared our conversation below.
Far I, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
The story Behind my mission is the discovery of the need for a social changed, matched with the environmental crisis.
There’s a very complex story of how our human family got into our current situation that we are in now..
Once I realized That we have several problems that we are facing. I also discovered that there’s a lot of missing information or miseducation.
That led to my search for finding an answer to solve the challenges that we are currently facing.

Far I, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My parents Are nature lovers. We were blessed to visit many state parks and drive to Alaska, drive to Canada and drive to Mexico.
Being out in nature, there’s a natural connection to the animals, the Earth, River streams, and lakes, and native people this land.
One of the things I remember growing up as my parents always would say do not litter. Do not be a litter bug. So keeping nature, clean and pristine as part of my upbringing, and I’m really grateful for it..
To see people throw trash On the ground or in the state parks or in the streets of the city Was always painful for me. There was a commercial in the 70s that used to play about a Native American Elder being very sad About our relationship to the environment and what we are doing to the environment.
Growing up African-American in the city of Los Angeles I also experienced a lot of racism. I did not really have a word for what I was experiencing until I became a teenager, and then I discovered there was a long history of racism in our society.
My brother, myself and a group of friends in Los Angeles began studying African history and the history of social change movements in the African-American Communities around the world. Wow! Wow! Wow!
I was stunned to find out all of the misinformation. One of my high school teachers told me that Egypt was not in Africa. He told me that Egypt was in the Middle East, so I showed him a map of Afrika. And he still said yeah that’s my point is in the Middle East.
Mind blowing miseducation all around us. Why became the question and in the middle of that question was the desire to find the solution and then begin to work on that?
40+ years of research have led me to the discovery that we are all connected and that we all have access to source energy. When we meditate and ask for guidance, there is a universal force that gives each of us direction and Sustenance.
To me, the solution is for us to tap in to that source energy with love in our hearts, seeking solutions. Each one of us will be given instructions on how the best use our talents and time on earth..
My music, Art, books and Green businesses are created from that formula

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
During the 2008 real estate crisis, I lost my primary residence. My second marriage was ending, and my children were facing all types of challenges
This was one of the most difficult times of my life, and I’ve had many others.
Ogreena And Green Team comics were born during this crisis. Being homeless with children, I had to trust in the divine and the community rallied to my support.
I had to surrender. I went deeper into my mission, deeper into my passions, deeper into my commitment to serve others. Deeper into my commitment to help humanity achieve the Green lifestyle.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
There are many books And many teachers that I have inspired me over the years. The Kybalion comes to my first because it’s about building enlighten civilizations. Think and grow rich and the story of Andrew Carnegie and Napoleon Hill. Rich dad, poor dad And the wonderful game that him and his wife created. Les Brown, the motivator, Zig Zigler and his amazing story. My people are also from Yazoo city Mississippi. Yogananda and the autobiography of a Yogi, Steve Jobs and the list goes on and on
