We were lucky to catch up with Fallon Hamilton recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Fallon thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Words have power and that power has been at the center of my life since I was a little girl. Books were my refuge, and I would spend hours upon hours reading to escape into a world of my own. The knowledge gained from reading enabled me to successfully pursue a career as an attorney. In turn, my love of books motivated me to write my own stories. I realized the power of the written and spoken word in every aspect of my life. From speaking things into existence, speaking life into situations and writing down manifestations, I have discovered just how important words truly are. My mission is to empower communities of color to use their words to tell their stories, to write and communicate without restriction, and to embrace that their words have power and meaning.

Fallon , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a product of Houston, TX and pursued my undergraduate degree at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I like to describe myself as a lover of all aspects of living life abundantly. I provide a platform for individuals to write intentionally through journaling, poetry and creative writing. In addition to those services, I am a published poet and author. I am also a freelance writer and often contribute my words to various literary magazines.
I am most proud of my ability to embrace my vulnerability and encourage others to do the same. Through my writing I consider myself a catalyst for healing, thinking, and growth. I want my readers and everyone who listens to my words via my new podcast that will be debuting soon to know that it is my intention for them to be better because of me.
My brand is all about inspiring others to realize they are powerful magical beings.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I had known there were so many avenues to share your writing with the world. From magazines to literary journals, there are so many mediums to share your words and make money doing so. I would have taken advantage of that way sooner!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I owe my social media following to the world of blogging. I met a lot of my followers during the blogging era where that was the happening place to be as an influencer. That audience followed me to other platforms, and I was able to build relationships with them and their followers as well.
