We recently connected with Faith Murray and have shared our conversation below.
Faith, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Well I didn’t wanna work for anyone anymore. I was working 3 jobs in college and taking care of 4 kids by myself without help or assistance. It was getting hard to find a baby sitter and a daycare that I can afford. During the pandemic one of my jobs shut down Dunkin’ Donuts but my other 2 jobs CNA and Security Guard were essential personnel so I had no choice but to work and I was pregnant with my 5th child as well. I wanted to do something I love and making my own hours. So I thought hard and I did research on what I love to do which is pop pimples. Laugh out loud that crazy right. Then I found out what the meaning of it was called it had to do with skin which was Esthetician so. I learned more and knew I’ll just love it so I pursued it and now I own a business that has to do with skin care and blackhead extractions (popping pimples).

Faith, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Faith and I struggled with acne within myself. I love helping people, so I figured why not do something I love which is helping others and popping pimples. Also known as blackhead is extractions. Now I have a business called. HaveFaith LLC that helps others with their skin. I specialize in acne treatments and removals of ingrown hair. The main thing that I am proud of is that my client get a boost of self-confidence when leaving after one of my services was performed on them. My clients love how I listen to them, I hear them out and I give them potential skin care, treatment advice. I treat my clients as if how I want to be treated. I just love how my clients feel comfortable in their own skin!

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I really paid for everything as I grow. After I have fully funded my business, I then proceeded to take clients, Out of my home. Within six months of hustling and doing everything out of my home I got a chair at a local beauty shop. Within another 4months, I grew my clientele there, and on social media platforms, I then proceeded to buy my own studio. Now I been working out of my studio for about a year and still be self paying for my products and all my equipments.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Social media, social media, social media. I have downloaded almost ever Soical media platform to advertise my business. I have paid for Facebook ads, twitter add, Snapchat ads and Instagram ads, left my business cards in local stores and grocery stores. I have a YELP account that helps me gain clientele.
