We were lucky to catch up with Faith Lamere recently and have shared our conversation below.
Faith, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
After leaving the Mental Health Field, I wanted to take time to spend with my Boys. At that time, I just had my son Weston and had my 2.5-year-old, Trayson at home. I always wanted to be a present mom and always available for my family. Loving every minute of being at home with my littles, in the back of my mind, I kept wanting to help financially (as if being a stay-at-home mom wasn’t busy enough). I just wanted to contribute somewhere, whether it was extra savings, play money, or vacation money. So began my serial entrepreneur phase.
During this phase, I started a Cricut business… That’s what I called it, anything you can make from a Cricut, I sold it. So, I began selling custom T-shirts. Cups, Name tags, and party favors on Etsy. Although it did well, Inventory and supplies took up a lot of space in my closet, where I also had my office at the time. So naturally, I started a new business, an event company, decor and planning. I did all the things: balloons, fringe walls, backdrops, you name it. But I quickly realized that set up and prep was taking time from my kids and husband. Complete opposite of the reason I wanted to stay home in the first place.
So, My husband and I prayed. We prayed for a job that I could love and have a passion for, as well as stick to my priorities of being a Mother and A wife. and God blessed me with the opportunity to launch a Social Media Marketing and Management Company.
Within the first week of the launch, I had an overwhelming response to a post I created launching my new business. Once I started receiving clients, I knew I needed guidance and structure so I wouldn’t make the mistakes I had made with my previous businesses. From there, I gained mentorship to build a solid foundation and continue to gain mentorship to grow and scale my business to what it is now. I continue to learn, set boundaries, and keep that mindset to help.
Today, I am a Present Mother and Wife, a proud and thriving business owner, and I get to help other business owners and empower other Moms in business daily!
I had this idea that you do not have to sacrifice being A full-time mother and wife, present for all family and sporting events, run a business, and financially support your goals.
I know it’s possible … I’m blessed enough to be doing it!

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson that I had to unlearn when on my journey as an entrepreneur is to get out of the mindset that you have to know EVERYTHING. Being WILLING to learn and adapt to new concepts and ways of doing things is essential for growth. I used to think, I had to know it all to be an expert, but that isn’t the case and it hindered me from growing within my business. I come from a medical background, so I like to say, “Just like doctors practice medicine, I practice social media.” This stems from the ever-changing world of social media and human nature.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
When I started my event company, the time it took away from my family made me realize that this career field was the opposite of why I wanted to stay at home and start my own business in the first place. With my values of being present for my kids and my husband, this was the time I needed to step back and reassess my career goals.
