We recently connected with Fabrice Nambona and have shared our conversation below.
Fabrice, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?
Beginning 2020 is when I first bought my Sony A7ii and took filming serious, at the time i was working a regular job at Walmart which was really depressing i just felt uncomfortable like i didn’t belong there, then the manager wanted to fire me, so she asked me “why would i give you a second chance” and i told her “No i don’t need a second chance” so I walked out the door, and that was my last day working a regular job. I wish I started my career way sooner, maybe in 2018 I would’ve been a lot more advanced then I am today, and definitely know a lot more about the business side of it and to say “No” to certain clients, because it only brought me trouble at the time. To conclude it all I’m glad I started when I did because I feel like 2020 was perfect, I was bored it was during Covid

Fabrice, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started my career with making beats for my brother at first, but it wouldn’t really fit his style, then started doing photography and I really liked it, so he asked me to try videography I wasn’t really interested at first then I shot my first music video on a iPhone it came out alright, he told me to keep on trying, So I went a year straight learning about videography. When I knew a little bit more then I asked to be his full time videographer and he agreed. From that I picked videography over “photography” and “producing beats”
I provide wide range of services such as (Filming,Editing, directing, cover arts)
A lot of artists would come to me not knowing what they want so I would have to create their style from scratch just off meeting them that day, which is kinda crazy to think because I’ve never met them before, so trying to give someone a style or a look just off knowing for a few hours is really hard to do.
What sets me a apart from the majority of the creatives is that I’m afraid to try new things or take a step further even if I don’t get paid for it, which helps me in the long run.
I’m really proud about my “Color grading” my videos are really bright, I like bringing out colors in my videos, That also sets an apart from a few videographers around the city.
My visual effects are also really good because I take my time to perfect them.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I wish I knew about certain websites or “presets” because it cuts a huge chunk of your time while editing a video rather than making something from scratch.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to have a platform for artist to show their art, without having to spend money. I really believe Albuquerque deserves it, there’s a lot talented people not just in music but other things as well.
