We were lucky to catch up with Evelyn Mosley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Evelyn , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Often the greatest growth and the biggest wins come right after a defeat. Other times the failure serves as a lesson that’s helpful later in your journey. We’d appreciate if you could open up about a time you’ve failed.
My story of failure is why I am where I am today. Because of the way I was raised, generational curses overtook me in my life in my twenties. I became the curse of divorce, a single mother, alcoholism, imprisonment, and abortions. Although I was the only one who attained education and successful entrepreneurship, I became a failure based on my decisions. I became a product of the environment I was raised in. However, my failure turned evil into good. Since so many people in my family suffered from mental health, I returned to school and got my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I now work as a therapist helping those through detox and substance abuse. I am a doctorate candidate. Once I graduate, I will travel globally to minister and open small churches in impoverished villages to help and lead many to Jesus Christ.
Failures are lessons one can take and turn around to help others who struggle with the same or similar challenges in life. I also

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In 2009 when I had a significant life-changing stream of events after I got an emotional grip and mental stability, I started on a journey to repair, restore and rediscover old and healthy relationships. I did this by going through walking the walk and talking the talk. Typically trust is the hardest to keep, but possible. Along my journey, I violated and lost the trust of many family members and friends, but I have been resilient and made it a mission to attain their trust to the best of my ability. I continue to pray for those that I couldn’t and stay on the path of standing with integrity in everything I do.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
I have a website where I offer to women teaching and equipping them on how to pray, tithe, fast, and evangelism. I am to reach them through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms as they arise.
